For years, fans of cheesy 1980s action cinema dreamed of the day in which hyper-muscular and monosyllabic stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone would star together in what could only be the greatest cheesy action film ever.

The Expendables are all set for a new mission in this action/adventure sequel. This time around, it's up to the gang to retrieve a secret item off of a crashed plane that shows the location of a Russian plutonium mine.

Sylvester Stallone has announced The Expendables 3, though fans may be more intrigued by his new project by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

On Monday, Lionsgate confirms that The Expendables 3 will be released on August 15, 2014 -- which is my birthday, ironically.

Despite reports of him retiring from the martial arts genre, there have been talks of Chan joining the third installment of the popular, middle-aged action franchise from Sylvester Stallone, who tweeted that not only Mickey Rourke is reprising his role as Tool, but also Steven Seagal wants to be in Expendables 3 -- "if the part fits". May 30, 2013 - Gorilla Pictures, The Martial Arts History Museum and Martial Arts Show Biz TV have teamed up to promote the highly anticipated film, 'Arena of The Street Fighter' to audiences throughout the United States.

With director Patrick Hughes confirmed to be at the helm of The Expendables 3 , the biggest concern is rounding up all the bad asses to make up the ensemble of action stars kicking ass this time around.
