Summer Film Festival tickets on sale; event begins Friday
Tickets are still on sale for the City of Huntsville's annual Summer Film Festival set to begin this Friday at the Old Town Theatre.
Filmmaker best known for family adventures and war blockbusters
KEN Annakin, the British-born film director whose Hollywood credits included the star-studded World War II epics Battle of the Bulge and The Longest Day , as well as the family classic Swiss Family Robinson , has died at his home in Los Angeles.
The Rev. Timothy Wright , the Grammy-nominated gospel singer and composer known for his up-tempo praise songs and powerful mass choir sound, died Thursday at the Bronx Veterans Hospital.
