The original Broadway production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine 's beloved fairy tale musical INTO THE WOODS is set to be released on Blu-ray for the very first time later this year to coincide with the release of the hotly anticipated feature film version opening this Christmas according to a new listing and a special cover has been designed for the release. The original Broadway cast of INTO THE WOODS included 1988 Tony Award winner for Best Actress In A Musical, Joanna Gleason , in addition to Chip Zien , Bernadette Peters , Tom Aldredge , Kim Crosby , Chuck Wagner , Barbara Byrne and many more, the majority of whom returned to the show for the filming of the production.

John Travolta channelled his inner Monet for new TIFF film 'The Forger'

The moves he showed off in "Saturday Night Fever" and "Grease" are the stuff of cinematic legend, but who knew John Travolta was also pretty handy with a paintbrush? The star seems to have even surprised himself with the canvas he produced while prepping for his new art-heist film "The Forger." "I actually created my own Monet ... and I was pretty proud of it," Travolta said during an interview at the Toronto International Film Festival, adding that the piece now hangs in his Maine home.

Penguin India rolls out new cover for Roald Dahls Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

After the new covers for 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' launched by its parent company Pengiun UK were dismissed by twitterati as 'creepy', the firm's Indian branch has bounced back with its own cover art for new editions of Roald Dahl's beloved children novel. The launch is just in time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the book's publication in 1975, and also the author's birthday on September 13. The classic, which has sold over 13 million copies worldwide, will be available in a new avatar - designed by Sir Quentin Blake, who famously illustrated several of the original covers for Dahl's books.
