A release purported to compliment the whimsical UP , the new Monsters, Inc. Blu-ray edition celebrates the premiere pairing of Peter Docter and Pixar - a partnership that is two-for-two as far as I'm concerned.

Although they first arrived in movie theaters 8 years apart, Walt Disney has a darn good reason to release Up and Monsters, Inc .

The Pixar boys are at again with Monsters, Inc. taking their computer-animation talents from toys and insects to the magical world of monsters.

I love monsters. Let's get that out of the way up front - I grew up watching monster movies; they are close to my heart and I am prejudiced towards anything monster-oriented. I don't lose all objectivity, mind you; I couldn't abide the remake of "Godzilla," and although the monster was cool, I didn't enjoy "Cloverfield" either.
