After co-writing last summer's animated box office hit Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted , Noah Baumbach returns to the Specialty realm with Frances Ha , which debuts this weekend theatrically.

The movie Madagascar has turned itself into franchise with two other movies and a television show dedicated to its rag-tag team of penguins.

The movie studio and Ben Stiller 's production company Red Hour - which produced the original film - have hired Clay Tarver to pen a script for the proposed movie, which would be a follow-up to the 2004 hit comedy starring Stiller and Vince Vaughn as rival gym owners who form dodgeball teams, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
