deals Niccol Adapting Stephenie Meyer's Second Novel
Gattaca and Lord of War writer/director Andrew Niccol is attached to adapt The Host , the first novel by Twilight author Stephenie Meyer to be directed at grown-ups. The rights to the book were secured by producers Nick Wechsler, Steve and Paula Mae Schwartz.
