Music Theatre International has announced that Leap of Faith by award-winning composer Alan Menken , is now available for licensing.

LEAP OF FAITH received its first series of workshops in May of 2008. In early 2010, the musical was given a developmental workshop with director Rob Ashford .

Maybe they should've called it "Loss of Faith." The 20-performance Broadway flame-out and reported $14 million loss of the musical "Leap of Faith" last year should be enough to make many question a few currently hallowed showbiz beliefs about bankable formulas.

"Leap of Faith" began as a 1992 film starring Steve Martin as Jonas Nightingale, a modern-day travelling con artist/preacher, going from town to town "spreading the Word."
