Rose gives encouragement to daughter June while her disapproving Pop looks on in Drury Lane Theatre's revival of the classic 1959 musical "Gypsy" in Oakbrook Terrace.

Richmond native Kathy Halenda has never been shy about taking on bold, challenging roles as a singer, as her upcoming CenterStage performances will display.

Gypsy is based on the memoirs of the infamous burlesque performer Gypsy Rose Lee and chronicles her efforts to elevate her young daughters to stardom.

Bristol Riverside Theatre 's outstanding production of Gypsy , starring acclaimed Broadway actress Tovah Feldshuh, has its final performance at 3 PM today at the Bucks County theater.
