I worked at the UN and one job was as assistant during a General Assembly to a delegate from Malta who was in NY to study the "Palestinian Question." Although I was studying political science/international relations at the time I knew little about the Israeli history and conflict.
Anti-Semitism broadcast is Sunday
The Jewish Community Center at 9 Route 39 South will present the 92nd Street Y broadcast of "ADL 100th Anniversary Event: Why Does Anti-Semitism Still Exist?" Sunday at 11:30 a.m. The Complete Class with Adelka Polak will be offered Sundays and Tuesdays from 5 to 6:15 p.m. starting this Sunday.
