Stage and screen veteran Ruby Dee will be among the women honored as part of the Black Girls Rock! Awards, to be presented on October 16 in New York City and shown on BET on November 7. The other honorees include actresses Keke Palmer and Raven-Symone, singer Missy Elliott, and author Ilyana Vanzant.
