Because I enjoyed Moon so much, I've been going back and watching a lot of the 70's sci-fi films that influenced it, which has led me, finally, to Capricorn One .

So this morning I happened to be browsing the estimable Turner Classic Movies website, and I noticed that later this month -- July 20th, to be precise -- they're celebrating the 40th anniversary of the moon landing with a bunch of flicks about the exploration of space.

We've been watching quite a few streaming cinema picks from Netflix. The options are few, which means selections from quality will eventually be compromised.

If you're not already haunted in Connecticut, you can always stay up for "The Legend of Hell House" and "13 Ghosts" . Elsewhere, is it too early to reconsider the acting prowess of O.J. Simpson? His role on "Capricorn One" is featured on a night dedicated to "Hall of Fame Running Backs as Actors." The other is Jim Brown as one of "The Dirty Dozen" ...
