Ken, I'll say it once again -- he may not have been put on the DL this season, but Derek Jeter has suffered the same in the way of injuries as any of those guys on the DL -- out nearly a week with the quad injury and being hit on the hand by Daniel Cabrera, which he obviously should not have tried to play through. But you already knew that. However, it doesn't stop you or any of the February 2004 "Fan" brigade from continuing to take glee on an almost daily basis in his so-called "decline." Add back half of the 50 points he lost off his average when that happened and he's right back at at his career average...but somehow, I think most of you writers would still be looking for something...anything...to call a "decline."
Over and out.

Not taking Woodward was a mistake. He had a great spring and could play more positions than Ensberg who is now long gone.

Hey Davidoff, did you catch Melky waving to the crowd while missing a grounder last night? How about Monday when he didn't hustle on the bases. Typically you're so negative, except when it comes to your Yanks, since you are on the YES payroll
Keep Joe Morgan and Fire Ken Davidoff.

Woodward can play any position on the field, unlike Betemit who can't play the outfield. Plus Woodward is a better a glove. Plus Betemit is a corner infielder at best.
