The Baltimore Orioles are close enough to their first division title since 1997 that there's really no need for scoreboard watching and magic numbers. Opening up their three-game series with the second-place Toronto Blue Jays on Monday night at Camden Yards, the Orioles' path to the postseason was simple: Win two of the games and punch a ticket to the playoffs.

Orioles rally to beat Yankees 3-2

Steve Pearce doubled in a ninth-inning run and scored the game-winner on a double by Kelly Johnson as the Baltimore Orioles beat the New York Yankees 3-2 Sunday night to inch closer to the AL East title. The winning rally came after Brian McCann hit a tiebreaking homer off Darren O'Day in the top of the ninth.
