Air Force major general tapped for No. 2 spot at Cyber Command

Air Force Maj. Gen. James "Kevin" McLaughlin was nominated to be the number two commander at U.S. Cyber Command in Fort Meade, Md., the Pentagon announced July 8. McLaughlin is currently commander of the 24th Air Force, the service's major cyberspace component whose Air Force Space Command center is housed at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado.
