There is a possibility it may work but we need a real infrastructure in place to support the city. This means we must regress to Buffalo in the 30's, 40's and 50's when people walked or rode streetcars or took the train. Our current mass transit system (ie: none) is designed for people to drive in from the 'burbs, work in the city and drive back . A real subway, monorail and streetcars plus a real train service in both directions would do a lot to turn this place back into a real city. Oh, forgot one thing... get rid of the self-serving, bureaucratic parasite that hasn't done anything useful in 50 years, our government.  (Friday Nov 27 | post #7)
