Editorial: New trail rules should be guided by public safety

The Supervisors must realize that Safety is FIRST. How can it be safe when there is a mountain bike speeding down a trail coming onto hikers and equine users going at a much slower pace. Look at what is happening at Whiskey Town above Redding;Look at what is happening at the Cold Springs Trail in the Santa Barbara area. Why worry about striving for excellence, we have Pres Bo to make us all mundane and insignificant.
