I (sadly) was at The Micky D's on Chapel Hill today. I noticed that the restaurant inspection score report was posted at the drive through - however - the report was unsigned, undated and only reflected the score in the top right square. There appeared to be no other writing on the report. Does anyone know why it wouldn't be signed, dated etc? The score was a 91 A - but I want to know what the 9 pt deduction was for... Check to see if how Douglas handles an emergency c-section, or other urgent care needs for the baby. I think Cobb and Tanner are better prepared for the "what if's" than Douglas. (Friday Sep 5 | post #11)

Actually, I was referring to the myriad of threads that you start. You need to face reality and accept that when people don't respond to your threads, it means they are not interested - starting more threads ON THE SAME TOPIC doesn't increase interest - it just decreases your credibility. And it drives people away - which, I believe is your agenda anyway. So when your threads disappear it isn't because your accusations are accurate, it is because topix realizes that your annoying tactics drive people away which does not jive with their (topix's) goal to involve and attract people. In a previous post I clearly stated that if our leaders were interested in solving traffic problems - there we be a traffic signal at the Walmart entrance/exit onto Rose Ave, not at the Golf Course entrance/exit. I have never suggested installing a traffic light at the Rose and Hwy 5 intersection. Diverting traffic off Highway 5 onto Brighstar does not solve a traffic problem it creates a new one - in someone's front yard. IT IS A BAD PLAN. It creates more problems than it solves! My point is, why isn't there a light there NOW, instead of at the golf course? And I do know what it will do - it will RUIN the quality of life for people living on Brightstar Road. Brightstar already has a ton of traffic, putting more cars on this road is not a feasible plan. The John West, Central Church & Cowan Mill intersection are not equipped to handle more congestion. It may ease congestion on Hwy 5, but it creates congestion in a RESIDENTIAL area on a street that can not handle it! They promised to improve the Brightstar/Hwy 5 intersection in the 2002 splost - still hasn't happened! This project has NOTHING to do with solving traffic issues - if this plan is a serious attempt to solve traffic issues - we have some dangerously short sighted decision makers.
