the way i understand what i have read is that centuries ago when christianity was only afew centuries old the leaders of christian churches rearranged and adopted some of the pagan traditions and celebration dates to pursuade new members to join them and to keep some old memebers happy.paganism has been around alot longer then christainity.the more i read about both the more i am glad to be a pagan.pagans have pretty mush followed the same beliefs and traditions for centuries,christianity changes their bekiefs and traditions too much.  (Monday | post #4)

Why Skirts?

i think the religion you are talking about is the pentecostal religion.the women have to wear dresses and skirts no matter where they are and what the weather is. they are also not allowed to wear make-up or cut and dye their hair.personally i wouldn't be able to handle all that.  (Monday | post #33)

Women who have never had to work outside the home.

as a woman who has been single for years and had to make her own living i miss not being able to stay home and take care of the house,etc full time.now my life is split between work and home.some weeks i have to work alot of overtime,especiall y this time of year,so i either wear myself out trying to do all those hours and keep up with the house or the house doesn't get all the attention it needs for a time. i relieved as a working woman that both my kids are grown and can take care of themselves now. i remember when i had to take care of lob,house and kids.  (Monday | post #16)

all i can say is i have been a customer of sumo's since they opened their doors when they were still in the other building.i love the people that work there.if you work with them they are more than happy to work with you.quincey is a sweet person who i doubt very seriously has a mean bone in her body.i just can't believe that she or anyone else there would do something that terrible to someone.  (Thursday Dec 17 | post #10)

The sweetest things in life

there's so many kids today that forget their manners,or for that matter were never taught them in the first place.i have a friend with young children and she isn't even bothering to teach them manners or to respect their elders or any of the polite ways.it's almost as if she feels that her kids are above everyone else or something.i still can't get out of line with my father and other elders and i'm in my early fifties.  (Tuesday Dec 15 | post #16)
