Top Five Best Things About New Moon | Kristen Stewart, Robert P...

My thoughts are why is such a cliche romance so appealing to young people? It's a normal high school romance with the addition of vampire and wolf worlds. I suppose I am a hypocrite since I read the books and have seen both movies. I was curious to see how close they can get to the book. So far I'm not impressed, really. If anything New Moon will be the best movie. I might be nice and say that Eclipse will be a good one too because if I had to choice favorites from the four books it's those two. I'm just tired of the phenomenon and I swear if Twilight beats any other movie epecially Star Trek for the Favorite Movie at the People's Choice Awards 2010 I will be pissed.  (Thursday | post #1)

Oh, and may I add..to wish physical abuse or death on someone (not that I haven't) really shows me that capability that the ugly side of humanity is well on its way to gaining corrupt power of this nation...and I don't think I like the idea of idiots in control. I suppose that would be myself since I have wished for someone to be hurt. But that's only one person I knew in high school all too well and worked with in class and in plays. Well, you see the thing is...even if it were someone else like Ashley Tisdale or Miley Cyrus I'd still be defending them as well. It is really useless to say how much you hate someone when you haven't met them. All you know is what is spread in tabloids and most of that is lies! I hate that the media is such a poisoning entity. I think I want to make a teen magazine that tells the truth without the fascination to look like a celebrity or be like them. There needs to be more magazines that promote the cliche "just be yourself" and to quit idolizing these people who are just like us in every single way you could imagine.  (Thursday Nov 19 | post #273)

Maybe this is irrelevant to the blog, but why can't we science just be taught? Teach the scientific part of the curriculum no even touching on the religious aspect of it. The kids are influenced enough outside of school to make the connections of the arguments that go on between atheists and religious folks. Just teach science and leave it at that. If kids wish to mention religion then so be it...science and religion aren't hand in hand. They in fact (to me) are two separate entities.  (Tuesday Nov 17 | post #1)

Oh, what a dilemma. I think that's entirely the individual athlete who let themselves get that way. As an athlete you are considered to stay in shape since people get lazy well it's inevitable that some things turn for the worse. Sounds like a personal problems on your end and theirs. How does it affect me? Oh, maybe because I am overweight and ignorant people have decided it's time to target that....why? I wouldn't know. They need something else to insult? This society is so obsessed with the way people look. It's ridiculous. Now, why you are paying premiums because your opponent is fat makes absolutely no sense to me, but I didn't create any parts of the health care system. Glad it's not my job I wouldn't know what the fuck to do. As for this thread...it only pisses me off on a very personal level because people get into their heads that overweight people are these fat lazy fucks that sit on their couch watching TV and eating all day, but no. I actually do something with my life and am trying to turn it around. But it's people like here on this thread that make me not give a shit because I'd rather stand up an argue about it then have to conform to society's maniacal reign over the public. And the government doesn't help much either so it can piss off. I usually don't get this pissed on these forums, but damn, am I angry right now! Okay, so this has driven me nuts that past I don't know how many hours... Just because there is some sort of written documentation of a god doesn't mean it exists. The written documentation is not enough to prove it. This going off topic a bit I suppose and I think I've mentioned this somewhere else in other forums, but I'm quite tired on how the word faith is being used... People forget that it means so much more than just in religious terms...does this bother anyone else? Oh, and I must agree with this: "In fact? Today's a much *worse* climate: just *try* to get elected in the US, without paying some form of lip-service to the goddites' silly superstition.... .... expedite that election; swallow your honesty, and claim allegiance to some sort of god... ....else you won't get elected. No, they didn't, but I shove my two sense any time I want. And so what I am I hearing being implied is since they are raped so much in prison there is no use for the health care? I can see this I mean...but I think the point someone here was trying to make is that if they get health care at a very decent price why must overweight folks and smokers be targeted to up the prices of theirs on in some cases give them none at all?
