African American or Black - Political Correctness
Which should we use? and Why? I'm White... If I move to Africa, should I require them to call me American African ? (Sep 27, 2009 | post #1)
I swear there is a huge conspiracy with college text books. I have 2 classes next quarter and the cost for books was $412.00 How do they justify this? Someone in my last class had a 6th ed. book, he was told it was no good. He needed the 7th ed... of which the 7th ed. only contained rearranging the sequence of chapters. There needs to be a law passed to stop this capitalistic abuse. (Sep 27, 2009 | post #1)

Mass. police officers protest civilian flaggers
This all sounds like Flagger Anarchy! Just let them keep the jobs they want because, they'll just come up with another nepotistic law that says you'll have to have a policemen WATCH the new flaggers. (Sep 24, 2009 | post #80)

Audrie, What kind of retarded fantasy moron are you? Just put an ad in craigslist for erotic massages... they say they make $1000 a night... according to my calculations... that would be half of His worth in a year. (Sep 24, 2009 | post #20)
Ronald Reagan on socialized medicine
o Ronald Reagan Speaks Out Against Socialized Medicine (1961) - audio recording, part of the Operation Coffee Cup campaign against the social insurance program which later became known as Medicare. * But at the moment I'd like to talk about another way because this threat is with us and at the moment is more imminent. One of the traditional methods of imposing statism or socialism on a people has been by way of medicine. It's very easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project. . . . Now, the American people, if you put it to them about socialized medicine and gave them a chance to choose, would unhesitatingly vote against it. We have an example of this. Under the Truman administration it was proposed that we have a compulsory health insurance program for all people in the United States, and, of course, the American people unhesitatingly rejected this. Ronald Reagan on socialized medicine
o Ronald Reagan Speaks Out Against Socialized Medicine (recording (1961) * The doctor begins to lose freedom. . . . First you decide that the doctor can have so many patients. They are equally divided among the various doctors by the government. But then doctors aren’t equally divided geographically. So a doctor decides he wants to practice in one town and the government has to say to him, you can't live in that town. They already have enough doctors. You have to go someplace else. And from here it's only a short step to dictating where he will go. . . . All of us can see what happens once you establish the precedent that the government can determine a man's working place and his working methods, determine his employment. From here it's a short step to all the rest of socialism, to determining his pay. And pretty soon your son won't decide, when he's in school, where he will go or what he will do for a living. He will wait for the government to tell him where he will go to work and what he will do. (Sep 24, 2009 | post #1)
Red Light Cameras Cost Too Much
It's definitely NOT about SAFETY. It's not about ILLEGALITY. It's about MONEY!!!! A ticket does not stop you from running it and if you run it you may or may not cause an accident. If you caused an accident, it's too late. This is all after-the-fact arguing. (Sep 23, 2009 | post #5)
I feel that religion is overrated. It's like an over-prescribed drug that you build tolerance to. Like any intended drug...it will make you feel better. BUT, It should be used in moderation. Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people. Karl Marx (Sep 23, 2009 | post #1)
