Your bonus will be paid based on the time you work during the year. If you take unpaid time off, such as a personal leave or unpaid family leave, the amount of your eligible salary will be reduced and your bonus will be calculated based on the reduced amount. In most cases, if you leave the company during the fiscal year and are at least age 55 with 10 or more years of service, you are eligible to receive a bonus amount for the time your were employed during the fiscal year. If you leave the company during the fiscal year for any reason other than total disability or death, and are not an eligible retiree, you are not eligible for a bonus payment for that fiscal year. If you leave the Company during the fiscal year, but have a paid-through-date into the new fiscal year, you will be eligible to receive a bonus payout since you worked for the full fiscal year. If you leave the Company after the fiscal year ends but before bonuses are paid out, you will be eligible to receive a bonus payout since you worked for the full fiscal year. There may be some select corporate divisions where divisional/departm ental components are part of the calculation for the FY2012 payout. Any eligible team members in affected divisions will receive additional information about these components later in the fiscal year. (Aug 16, 2012 | post #16)
