Does anyone else see the small problem with a man who cuts and pastes what others say about the bible more then anyone I have seen telling another they should study more about the Bible?!? Heath I have great hope that demons may yet be cast out! But in this case who are the "they" if it is any believers then I have to ask how another passage about gifts being given out to each: 2 Cor 12:7But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit (L)for the common good. 8For to one is given the word of (M)wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of (N)knowledge according to the same Spirit; 9to another (O)faith by the same Spirit, and to another (P)gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10and to another the effecting of (Q)miracles, and to another (R)prophecy, and to another the (S)distinguishing of spirits, to another various (T)kinds of tongues, and to another the (U)interpretation of tongues. 11But one and the same Spirit works all these things, (V)distributing to each one individually just as He wills. In 1 Cor it appears that not all people are given the same things as gifts go. Thus there seems to be a difference in how these gifts of Mark 16 are given compared to the rest of the gifts. Secondly there is no Biblical evidence to show that all believers did those things. If they did then the sick would all have been healed by the 5000 on the first day that God added to the Church. However that does not seem to be the case. And finally there is that small prophetic statement that says they will drink poison and not be harmed, please someone, anyone on the planet quote me BCV where this happens? I can not find where this prophetic statement was ever shown to come to pass in the Bible. So could it be the "they" are the small original group of believers themselves since they constituted all who believed at the time these words were spoken but still it does not resolve the poison. However if someone still believed in the gifts, this passage would quickly quiet them through death to prove it or through fear. Where is the fulfillment of that prophetic statement people? It is the elephant in the room that speaks to the truth of the longer ending of Mark!  (Tuesday Nov 17 | post #13)

The early church was a hunted church, many of them being killed for what they believed, it would be foolish in that environment to draw attention to yourselves with instruments. I often wander if the speaking to yourselves was not that, a quite speaking to keep the noise down and stay safe!  (Sunday Nov 15 | post #24)

Let me add to that, since they are doing the same things and judging salvation at the same time they have been placed in a trap that will see them judged at the same level that they judge. PLEASE HEAR THE ABOVE, you are dancing in danger of judgment from God at the same level you judge, please repent from this, otherwise it will only be the mercy of God that stands in the way of the seed you sow!  (Sunday Nov 15 | post #7)

False doctrines you mean like the use of Ezra 10 to try and force people to return to previous spouses? It's no feeling James stood right on TV and said he told the pastor (forget the name) that he would not tape him but he then claimed to have a tape, thus he lied, even if he put a tape for tv use on it, it's still deceptive answer meant to make you think he was not taping. Hmmmmmm did I miss this show? All I have seen are accusations and lies to others, postal employees, average citizens where you claim to ask them to come visit and then use a hidden camera to keep the momeny flow coming to the TV show, and deception/lies to pastors even when asked not to tape, still taping after saying you won't per James comments a few weeks ago, and finally Johnny himself every time he stands in front of the TV and claims he only wants to ask a question when in reality he is looking to defeat and destroy others. Well it looks like I ran the great and powerful Johnny Robertson out of this thread, since he had plenty of time to post to others but left this one alone it appears he as decided to run away rather then explain how Jesus could lie to the woman at the well about her 5 husbands since according to Johnny you can have only one unless he has died. John you would be better off grasping the straw of all 5 husbands dieing but I would think Jesus would have spoken of her pain if that had been the case. So it is clear she was divorced 5 times and living with a 6th man. 5 husbands from Jesus lips confronting your 1 husband false doctrine to all others. I'm sure your righteous judgment can do better then this, you know that judgment that Jesus was speaking of about judging God when he spoke those words and not about judgment of other men.  (Sunday Nov 15 | post #97)

Considering James told a pastor he would not tape him and claimed to have a tape, what do you call that, I call it being a liar. So how did he phrase it did he tell him he would not tape him for TV? So you use deceit to spread dissension among others. Since you are into this why have you not visited a Jewish house of worship, I see a pattern of the original church doing that but I do not see you doing that!
