Oh - I almost forgot.... It's not "slander " if it's actually TRUE. I mean, how long have you known, Truly KNOWN the Currells? I've known them since the mid 1970's. And yes - the TRUTH can be Very Ugly. Just like your performance on stage at RCCT. Haaa! Just jokin' kid.... But, I will see you there, very soon. I look forward to your ....... Performance. If I can't hear you from the back of the theatre audience, I will ask You personally to speak up, right in front of EVERYONE. After all - I am a little hard of hearing....... I apologize. I can't know nearly as much as You.... You've been in theatre a whole 4 years. I have some good advice for you : Put some years and tears behind what you're saying. Let a hearty 14 years of theatre history get snugly tucked under your belt before you allow yourself to speak like an Einstein of Thespians. 4 years? That's not quite gonna cut it, DumbAss. Hey Big Man, Or, should I call You: Ren ? I applaud you for speaking up like a true "Theatre Trooper". This must be your first show. Not bad, for a spunky 14 yr old- But.... You Seriously need to SPEAK UP in order to command a stage audience; I mean, come on.... That is an extremely Small theatre, and still you need to wear a mic on your cheek? Really???? Wow. Your Dance Moves are ..... almost solid, but you're second guessing yourself which makes your choreography look very VERY 3rd Grade. Have some confidence in what you do. Make Full Committed Acting Choices on your own - The Director is only there to give you a spark; You take what she's told you and mold it into Your Very Own Fire. But you've Got to give your audience more volume - volume Volume VOLUME!!! Project Your Voice to the Very Back of the Theatre, that way you'll make damn sure that EVERYONE in that Audience HEARS YOU. And one more thing.... Wait til you're a little older than 14 to start giving out "Holier Than Thou" professional info about the Theatre. Just because you're a "Cloud" doesn't mean you can live your life with your head in one....... Finish school. Read more books. Get smart. TO THE C U R R E L L S : "We the People of Elk City, OK are tired of seeing your faces and your less-than-amateur- acting abilities!" Above all - EVERY aspect of EVERY show that you, the CURRELLS, horde for yourselves to "be in charge of" at the Red Carpet Community Theatre ALWAYS has the very apparent appearance of being "HALF-ASSED ". This inevitably happens since NONE of YOU will ALLOW Anyone ELSE to do ANY kind if volunteer work on a show (unless you so deem it allowable) because you're too afraid someone else might get some of the Credit. So let's focus on the POINT, which is what is really Important here: It is a Fact (an actual Consensus taken from MANY hapless Victims who have had the "pleasure " of working/volunteeri ng with you, the CURRELLS, over the course of several years) that people are tired of seeing any of You CURRELLS on stage, backstage, having anything to do with lights, sound or ANYTHING ELSE AT ALL at the Red Carpet Community Theatre in Elk City, OK. You are NOT wanted in the Red Carpet Community Theatre, NOT in ANY capacity Whatsoever. For years, You CURRELLS have been a lousy, Hateful UNWANTED Presence in the Red Carpet Community Theatre.... And it is Time for You to LEAVE. Think of it as doing YOURSELVES a Favor (since You are lost in Your Own SELF-APPRECIATION) : If you leave the Red Carpet Community Theatre -as in, leave it; Leave it Alone; LEAVE IT FOR GOOD- this decades-long "Curse of Embarrassment " will Finally Cease for the Theatre, Cease for the Community of Elk City, OK, and after another 5 to 10 years might even cease for you, the CURRELLS. And again, let's face the FACTS here, which is what matters most; You, the CURRELL Family, are Nothing but a COMPLETE and TOTAL EMBARRASSMENT to the Red Carpet Community Theatre in Elk City, OK - so Finally, one more time, to ensure consistency: IT IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE RED CARPET COMMUNITY THEATRE (RCCT) OF ELK CITY, OKLAHOMA THAT NO MEMBER OF THE CURRELL FAMILY HAVE ANYTHING AT ALL MORE TO DO WITH SAID THEATRE, AND THAT THE CURRELL FAMILY RELEASE THEIR INAPPROPRIATELY FALSE AND UNETHICAL OWNERSHIP OF SAID THEATRE IN EVERY WAY, SO AS TO RIGHTFULLY RETURN THE THEATRE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY OF WHICH IT FREELY BELONGS. The CURRELL Family has operated for years in a very unkindly manner toward all RCCT participants, especially those who do not bow down immediately and become willing victims of their hateful attitudes and overly rude behavior. The CURRELLS have unrightfully taken the RCCT as their own "Family Theatre". The Red Carpet Community Theatre is just that: a "Community " theatre. The people of Elk City, OK and surrounding cities/towns/commu nities are long past tired of seeing the the faces of Any member of the CURRELL Family on the stage of the RCCT. The CURRELLS have spoiled, Ruined even, the reputation of the RCCT, and have given a Bad Name to community theatre in general. We, the people of Elk City, OK are asking YOU ("Footloose " participant) to drop out of this show and not be a part of this continuing ugly charade that the CURRELLS have been Dictating for the last several years. We need to show them (the CURRELLS) that they have No Right to continue this Forced-All-Encompa ssing-Control of the RCCT, that it is Truly NOT theirs. The Red Carpet Community Theatre belongs to the community, NOT exclusively to the CURRELLS. Again, please - Do not allow yourself to be a part of this show; by the end of it, you will be ever weary of the CURRELLS' hateful behavior toward you. And like most people who've had Anything to do with them, you won't want to be around them, Ever again. Here is another very healthy reason you should assist your community by steering clear of this show and the CURRELLS: The Playwrights of "Footloose: The Musical" have been contacted, as well as other individuals who own legal rights to this show, and have agreed to send an official auditor to view one night of this production. The playwrights of this show were notified that several unauthorized changes have been made to this show; changes that will alter costumes, time/era setting, and the overall theme of the show. (Once again, this information is True and Total FACT, in it's entirety.) If this show, "Footloose ", goes through with it's fully-charged CURRELL Family-fueled Half-Assed production with these unauthorized changes - this auditor will not hesitate to report back with this information, in turn bringing a force of Legal Action that could easily result in the physical Shut-Down of the Red Carpet Community Theatre. Don't let this happen. Drop out of the show Now. If enough people drop out, the show will be cancelled, and then the CURRELLS won't be held responsible for the Complete and Total Devastation of the RCCT (although, they have nearly accomplished that already due to their limitless Greed and Selfishness). Then, maybe, hopefully.... the CURRELLS might let go their controlling, dictating grip of the RCCT, and rightfully give it back to the Community.
