guitar shop

I am so sorry. I am new at this and thought I had to make discussions concerning guitar shops here. There was no intent on my part to say anything bad about the shop mentioned, Kyova Mall in Ky. The shop I was referring to was in Westmoreland. I just thought it was bad the way Mr. Burrell did this lady, and did not want any other women to be aware of his harassment, as there was another who he had done the same. I just do not want to mention names. But please accept my apology as it was not in reference to the guitar, Kyova Mall in Ky. I have tried several times to start post, a message concerning homes being broken into in the Huntington, Kenova, Ohio, Ky, areas, and other areas, but it always seems it never got posted. I tried to start a discussion of my own, but I still cannot find it. LOL Again, please accept my apologies. Tsis  (Wednesday Nov 18 | post #5)

guitar shop

I know a woman who worked for Leo Burrell several years ago. She moved from another state to get on the job training from Mr. Burrell. She had told him she could only work about four days a week due to physical medical problems, and that was no problem he had told her. After moving here, and working for him, from the time she came up here until the time she left his place, he never paid her, and she was also sexually harassed on the job. Those two things were why she left his guitar shop, besides causing personal property damage to something she owned and when she mentioned it to him, he fussed at ehr for saying anything about as if she had not right at all to say anything. This was a lage shelving that she used for her oil painting supplies. He told her he would buy the same materieals so she could make her another oen, but he nver did. After she left his shop. he told people that she owed him money. She said he did pay for a few things, but even after subtracting that from which he owed her for salaries alone, he still owed her over $1,600.00, as she had kept track of her time as he had told her to do. Also, she had to work 7 days a week all day long. This caused her medical problems to worsen. And he did not even believe the pain she was in. Another person helped her out of the situation, who also worked for him part time, then started working for him everyday as well. He was doing so to help Mr. Burrell out. But he saw what was being done to the woman, and he said that after Mr. Burrell told him that he would lie if he had to, that was when the man quit helping him out as well. The reason she did not do anything was because she did not want to cause his wife who was living in Hawaii, or his family, embarrassment or heartache. I noticed the shop now says Pawn shop, but I do not know if Mr. Burrell is still building those twisted guitars now or if he even works there anymore. I just know that it was not right what he did to her.  (Saturday Nov 14 | post #3)
