Loved Ones Speak Out On Search For Missing Eufaula Family
I lived within a 40 mile radius of there all my life and its not deliverance territory. However it is a little backwards in areas. I think though that we simply are not being told everything there is to know. I don't believe an entire family would go missing with out a trace and there not be more information out there. Maybe we really don't need to know anymore. Just a thought. (Monday Nov 23 | post #125)
Checotah Man Arrested In 18-Year-Old Fiance's Death
She had sent out invitations to the wedding, at least I had gotten mine and it only takes a few minutes to get the license. I know the invitations were real because she called me to get my address so I know she sent it. Not that I accept the story being told by the so called husband to be, also known in some circles as the killer. (Wednesday Nov 11 | post #129)
Tulsa Homeowner Fights Back During Home Invasion
"I'm still trying to figure out what all the hoopla and praise is about. The man shot a door and a couple of burlars ran away." - deacon After reading the above quote of you making fun of a guy protecting his home I just figured you thought you could do better. I'll try not to read to much into what you say from now on, deacon. (Monday Nov 9 | post #125)

18 Laid Off Tulsa Police Officers Rehired
Did it ever occur to you that people who break the law, run from the cops, hide in a port-a-potty then disobey orders to come out and get on the ground when they are finally caught probably need some sense kicked into them. If he had just given up when he was first caught nothing would have happened except having gotten cuffed and put in jail. That stuff happened anyway. When you put peoples lives at risk and you get ruffed up some, who really cares? Liberal bleeding hearts I suppose. Wait until your robbed or raped and see if you think these criminals need to be mollified. I can't imagine having to turn off the adreneline after a chase and treat these people with kid gloves. How about after they cause a wreck while running from the law and kill a child or the childs parents. Should we be really nice to them then? I just don't understand how people can worry about these thugs that don't care what they do to others as long as it suits their purpose. I'll get off my high horse now. (Saturday Nov 7 | post #97)
Tulsa Homeowner Fights Back During Home Invasion
Cory & Same I agree with ya'll. I have been on the receiving end of someone wanting to take what I have. Luckily he was more scared of me the I of him. I however am not so naive to think the next one will be scared or unarmed. I don't want to have to face that. All these people that know just what they would do are amazing to me. I have seen people I thought would just buckle up rise to the occassion and I have seen people I knew would stand up for themselves start shaking like a bowl of jello. As far as the shots fired thing, people in certain parts of town have learned that to get a faster response from the police you need to say shots fired or someone is hurt. Doesn't mean its true, but it is still logged that way. And anyone who thinks you get use to bullets whizzing by you has never had a bullet whiz by. (Nov 5, 2009 | post #117)
Suspect Arrested In Bartlesville Stabbing Death
6 out of 10 people do meth. What screwed up world do you live in? He carried things to far and someone died? Thats called murder. I have no idea if it is self defense or not but when you carry something to far and someone dies someone usually goes to prison. It's not a childs prank that went out of hand, someone died. You make it sound like it was just something that happened and everyone should just get over it. You get over a broken window not death, at least not right away. Before it is said, no I don't know any of these people, what happened or anything else, I am just commenting on the callous attitude. (Nov 5, 2009 | post #79)
Convicted Tulsa Sex Offender Back In Court
I think most people agree that these perverts need swift justice served up to them. I think the difference between people could best be stated by remembering what a, I believe was, founding father said. "It would be better to free 10 guilty men than to imprison 1 innocent man." Paraphrased of course. It's not the punishing the guilty child molesters its the imprisoning of the innocent that creates the problem. In our zeal to punish the guilty we have to protect the innocent. I think we all agree the harshest punishment available for someone who molests a child would never be enough. You shouldn't be to hard on the hunters. If this family is out in the woods it will more than likely be a hunter that stumbles upon them. I seriously doubt they would call off the search because of deer season, not if they thought there was a chance they were really out there. More than likely the authorities have an idea what has happened they just aren't saying at this time. (Nov 2, 2009 | post #68)
Two City Councilors Ask Tulsa Police Union To Give Up Take-Home...
I have a company car. I only use it for business and at this time that amounts to driving to work and back, about 12 miles a day. I just finished doing my monthly auto report and adding in gasoline, oil changes and tire usage it costs the company approximatley $38.00 a month for me to drive to work and back. Having the car saves my family from having to have another car which in turn saves me a monthly car payment, insurance and tags to say the least. It is a nice perk for a little cost since the car would have to be owned by the company anyway. If it costs $75.00 a month for a cop to have a car to drive home, so be it. It is actually cheaper than giving them a $200.00 a month raise but is a cost saver to them. Seems like a win win situation to me. (Nov 2, 2009 | post #197)
