Coffeyville theft and shootings not reported in News paper

Well if that don't say it all folks. lol.. Thank you. that answered the million dollar question for us all. The Coffeyville Journal can't get their days right. why should we expect them to get the news on what goes on in this town right. I've had it with the Journal. I tried calling them to ask them what happen Saturday night and got placed on hold for 20 minutes before i got smart and just hung up the damm phone. the Independence News Report should move here and take the Journal over or they should just close their Damm doors because the news paper isn't worth the paper they print on calling it news. makes me wonder if they even know what goes on in this town. REALLY ! We have a police Dept and a court room. but the information on what goes on in this town for the public to know shouldn't be CONFIDENTIAL NEWS. We have a right to know about public safty in this town. I don't look for what goes on in town on Coffeyville topix. because we have pisspoor editors more worried about what they can do or can't do to find out anything. WHAT CAN WE DO TO CHANGE THIS MATTER ? who has to die or get hurt and sent to the hospital before we are told what happen then? WE HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW !  (Monday Nov 9 | post #8)

I'm tired of hearing how George Bush and Dick Cheney kept us safe. They ignored President Clinton's terrorist czar, Richard Clarke, about the threats of al-Qaida. The second attack on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11 happened on their watch. * * * I'm already seeing signs of President Obama starting to distance himself from a lot of the Democrats who are working on the health care bill. If it doesn't fly, he'll be pointing fingers at them. * * * Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said "there is no business in America that makes more money than the insurance industry." Lies, again. The insurance industry is 35th down the list. Democrats are up to their corrupt business, as usual. * * * In our town we are not allowed to give our children H1N1 shots, but thank God the president's kids got their shots. They don't have to worry. Wow. * * * Three little words have helped raise the cost of health care: "Ask your doctor." * * * I am an independent who wants to thank the Republicans for holding up extending unemployment benefits. Every day more people lose these benefits, and this is why people are losing their homes. Do you really think this will make us vote for you? * * * I read about the couple captured by pirates. The thing I found the most interesting was that the pirates have a spokesman. * * * Anybody who thinks Fox News is a legitimate news source probably thinks "Jerry Springer" is a legitimate talk show. * * * In 2008, California made more than $220 million in tax revenue from medical marijuana. Why isn't the rest of the country doing the same? * * * Rep. Todd Tiahrt represents Kansas, not upstate New York. He should keep his focus on Kansas. * * * Tea party participants are such hypocrites. How many of those on Social Security will return the extra $250 they may get? How many got a $4,500 clunker trade-in bonus when they bought their new car? Here is some of oBUMa accomplishments in 7 month: 1. Offended the Queen of England. 2. Bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia . 3. Praised the Marxist Daniel Ortega. 4. Kissed Socialist Hugo Chavez on the cheek. 5. Endorsed the Socialist Evo Morales of Bolivia . 6. Sided with Hugo Chavez and Communist Fidel Castro against Honduras . 7. Announced we would meet with Iranians with no pre-conditions while they're building their nuclear weapons. 9. Expanded the bailouts. 10. Insulted everyone who has ever loved a Special Olympian. 11. Doubled our national debt. 12. Announced the termination of our new missile defense system the day after North Korea launched an ICBM. 13. Released information on U.S. intelligence gathering despite urgings of his own CIA director and the prior four CIA directors. 14. Accepted without comment that five of his cabinet members cheated on their taxes and two other nominees withdrew after they couldn't take the heat. 15. Appointed a Homeland Security Chief who identified military veterans and abortion opponents as "dangers to the nation." 16. Ordered that the word "terrorism " no longer be used and instead refers to such acts as "man-made disasters." 17. Circled the globe to publicly apologize for America 's world leadership. 18. Told the Mexican president that the violence in their country was because of us. 19. Politicized the census by moving it into the White House from the Department of Commerce. 20. Appointed as Attorney General the man who orchestrated the forced removal and expulsion to Cuba of a 9-year-old whose mother died trying to bring him to freedom in the United States . 21. Salutes as heroes three Navy SEALS who took down three terrorists who threatened one American life and the next day announces members of the Bush administration may stand trial for "torturing " three 9/11 terrorists by pouring water up their noses. 22. Low altitude photo shoot of Air Force One over New York City that frightened thousands of New Yorkers. 23. Sent his National Defense Advisor to Europe to assure them that the US will no longer treat Israel in a special manner and they might be on their own with the Muslims. 24. Praised Jimmy Carter's trip to Gaza where he sided with terrorist Hamas against Israel . 25. Nationalized General Motors and Chrysler while turning shareholder control over to the unions and freezing out retired investors who owned their bonds. Committed unlimited taxpayer billions in the process. 26. Passed a huge energy tax in the House that will make American industry even less competitive while costing homeowners thousands per year. 27. Announced nationalized health care "reform" that will strip seniors of their Medicare, cut pay of physicians, increase taxes yet another $1 trillion, and put everyone on rationed care with government bureaucrats deciding who gets care and who doesn't. Bloomberg: Daschle says, "Health care reform will not be pain free. Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them," while former Colorado Governor Dick Lamm says seniors have "a duty to die." Coffeyville worst trick or treating town

I returned home yesterday from a business trip and I bought seven large bags of candy. living on the West side of town. everything I had was dispense in large amount to share. my only concern was the last two gobblens came by up to my house after 10 pm where I ran completely out. the last two I had came by got $5.00 each. because I ran out of candy. No one was turned down and I enjoyed seeing all the great costumes and being called a gaint in my own home. lol  (Nov 1, 2009 | post #10)

I couldn't agree with you more on what you wrote. when did this thread show up and who is spearchucker. ? Sounds like another name I seen like tarbaby on these other post comments. Those names are racial from the early 70s. don't let anyone fool you. I don't care how they use the word or how they word it. I want to thank everyone here on topix since I've been gone on a business trip. who have dedicated their time and wrote to the moderators on cleaning up these threads.
