Supersized Farragut church to break ground on student center
Agreed, very much so. The "church" is supposed to spread the love of God and Jesus by being an example of love, not sports. Give that money to the poor in the area, or, better yet, build some houses for the poor, and feed and cloth them, instead of building another "idolatrous " sports complex. Apparantely, sports > Jesus. (Oct 19, 2007 | post #6)

Do museums or libraries pay taxes? What's your point? Illegal immigrants don't pay taxes either, so what benefit is it to the economy to let them do dirt cheap work more efficiently than most greedy, lazy Americans? You get your products for cheaper and faster. (Oct 19, 2007 | post #4)

To all those idiot residents who opposed this: Guess what? You live in a TOWN (or city). Businesses and organizations expand/build/grow. Get OVER it, or move somewhere else, preferably in the middle of a 100 acre field so you can't whine about it anymore, or, if you wish to keep whining, to FRANCE. This is what towns and cities are about - people, businesses, organizations, entertainment, growth and money. Did you not realize that when you moved to Farragut? Or did you just think the world would stay the same? (Oct 19, 2007 | post #2)
Clinton High School closing early due to heat
You really shouldn't brag about how hot your kids are. Are you a pedophile or something? They say incest is best. You're going to end up on Dateline NBC with Chris Hanson... (Aug 13, 2007 | post #29)

How do you add fractions with a calculator? You can convert the fractions to decimals, then add the decimals (but not fractions on most calculators)... (Jul 5, 2007 | post #23)

Oak Ridge fireworks canceled due to lack of state permit
They are NOT having the fireworks display this year as the sound of the fireworks, which were to be shot off from the Scarboro community, would mask the sound of the "people" in Scarboro firing their guns at themselves over big-rimmed cars. (Jul 3, 2007 | post #9)

The "other Baptists" trying to escape shadow of Southern Baptis...
Wow, I don't recall John 3:16 as saying "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever is a Baptist AND believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life." (Jul 2, 2007 | post #5)

Red light camera nabs hit-and-runner
If you got hit wouldn't you want to know who did it and have them pay for it? Or should you just go without your car for a while and pay deductibles out of your own pocket for SOMEONE else hitting you? Tracking down those responsible is obviously wrong in your book. (Jun 21, 2007 | post #10)
Passengers stranded on Dollywood's "Timber Tower"
You need a "jump to conclusions" mat. I didn't say this accident or incident was nothing, I said the ride was nothing. Settle down, Beavis... (Jun 17, 2007 | post #47)
