i don't understand why they are worried about being sued for fraud! by child protective organs? the name of the informer is never disclosed to the possible offender. of course you can be sued if your accusations are totally unsupported. and system abuse is suspected (like means of revenge, for instance). but that's rarely the case. if something's really fishy, i believe the organs will be able to pick up on that. where do you get that people condone it?! the laws are much stricter now and DWIs are not taken lightly! i have an acquaintance who was arrested and had her license revoked. there's a new law that will not let her apply for a new license for 5 years! nobody's condoning. drunk people are just STUPID. their common sense get compromised. some people say: i drink but never drive. i believe, if you drink, you run a higher risk of stupid decisions. period. "wise drunk" is an oxymoron. people, just limit your consumption of fire water all together! i'm pro sobriety. BTW, don't get the wrong idea, i'm not a recovering alcoholic and i don't have alcohol or drug problem. so this is what it comes down to?!!!! this economy is NOT young family friendly!!!!! daycare costs alone will strip you off your last pair of pants. gas prices skyrocketing! medical bills with all those doctor's appointments for young children... Mortgage? Rents have gone up dramatically!!! All of those factors can put a strain even on families who are considered to be middle and upper-middle class. "Waldin, who was on patrol, was not injured and the police vehicle had no damage" we are soooo concerned with the police vehicle. i wouldn't be able to sleep at night if i wasn't sure how the police car is doing... amazing.
