Budget impasse straining day care
No one is assisting me. I was just stating my opinion. (Aug 11, 2009 | post #32)
Budget impasse straining day care
Well congratulations to all that don't need assistance. You have done well for yourselves. Not everybody is perfect out there in the world. Some people out there need assitance with certain things. I've got no problem with the people that legitimately need assistance. Helping other people out once in awhile is a good thing to do. Say they cut out this program, how much will that save you on your taxes? Will it be that massive windfall that you so desire? (Aug 11, 2009 | post #28)

Debate over police continues in Lower Macungie Township
Looks like it is time for LMT to ante up either for their own police force, a regional one, or pay something for the state police they use. (Aug 9, 2009 | post #32)
'Clunkers' will hit small businesses hard
I guess the writer is bothered by the fact that these mechanics won't be able to price gouge the customer as much anymore. They will undoubtedly find other "repairs " that have to be made on our new cars to make up for the revenue loss. (Aug 8, 2009 | post #4)
'Cash for clunkers' is wasteful program
Don't blame the plan or the auto industry if people can't make their payments. That is up to the banks to decide that. (Aug 7, 2009 | post #5)
'Cash for clunkers' is wasteful program
The auto industry needed to be saved because they actually make a tangible product unlike these banks we have bailed out. (Aug 7, 2009 | post #4)
Insurance companies are the ones in control
Insurance companies of all sorts always have and always will be just a scam. As long as they make their money they are happy. If you need to use your insurance for legit reasons you have to jump through hoops to get what you pay for. (Aug 7, 2009 | post #3)

I wouldn't be surprised to see SV raise the taxes regardless of how this shakes out and just use the teachers as scapegoats. (Aug 6, 2009 | post #54)

It sounds like the police did their job in this one. A guy driving around at night without his headlights on should get pulled over. The police obviously suspected something and investigated further. Sounds ok to me. If Parker wants to smoke up, do it in the offseason. (Aug 6, 2009 | post #27)
Scrap yards see less cash from clunkers
Shouldn't the credit restrictions be tougher now that banks goofed everything up? That "should" weed out a lot of the bad loans. The scrap dealers should feel free to offer signifigantly less for these scrap vehicles. (Aug 4, 2009 | post #8)
No. 1 pick Maclin still a no-show at Eagles training camp
Well if you were a top notch college player you would have had a shot at making millions also. I guarantee you wouldn't be complaining if you were a first round draft pick and a team wanted to pay you $20 million. It's good these college players get paid. After all the money the universities make off these guys, it's about time they get their share. (Aug 3, 2009 | post #4)

It would be nice if you could get a quote right. The correct word you were looking for was SOW. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. GO EAGLES!!! (Aug 3, 2009 | post #3)
