City works to make curbside recycling a reality

Kerbside recycling now is going to become reality soon. But this term is enliven from the years back and still continue to run through from that era. Kerbside recycling would differentiate between the wastes from home for recycling.  (Sep 8, 2010 | post #3)

Recycling innovation could spell end of 'separation anxiety'

Recycling, innovated or not, is still a powerful and key factor for healthy environment and obviously would help end of ‘separation anxiety’ while recycling. This can only be enforced by pointing out the exact material to be recycled in a recycle bin I reckon. Exact material doesn’t really mean that the plastics, papers or glasses to be recycled but they all should be in good condition to recycle.  (Sep 2, 2010 | post #2)

environmentally friendly inventions inspired by science f...

You can see many examples from Star Trek series – science fiction movie sequels like Universal Translator which was tried by scientists by using voice recognition software which in the movie was used to know what the aliens are speaking. Another example is of The PADD from the same series which in the real world was seen in the form of iPad.  (Aug 17, 2010 | post #3)

Green Infrastructure

Obviously the future of technology would be better than this. The integration across every sector - transportation, energy, water, and waste management would certainly help defying the environmental issues.  (Aug 11, 2010 | post #2)

Are Recycling Plants harmful?

The recycling plants in my opinion also need much care not to become harmful for the environment. The people working in these plants can be the victim of many diseases while dangerous chemicals are used to perform recycling process. Much care is required for the wastes which results from recycling of wastes. So what do you think about your Recycling plant. Is it safe for humanity??  (Aug 2, 2010 | post #1)
