That center mainly just hosts meetings of PFLAG, where parents try to discuss how to protect their children from bigots like you guys. I'd say they think their kids don't need to see your bigotry. It sounds like you guys are the ones trying to push your lives on other people. (19 hrs ago | post #4)
It wasn't empty when I was there. Slow for a Saturday maybe, but in no way vacant. (Monday | post #21)
People really need to give more information on these posts. It would help to know an approximate age (not sure if that 48 stands for how old you are), and your music tastes. Going to a bar that reflects your interests more gives you something to talk about with people. (Sunday May 19 | post #5)
I highly doubt this is true. This rumor keeps popping up. Wal-Mart is building new locations all over, even in Shepherdsville. They aren't going to give up the vast amount of money that they make in a city the size of Etown. (Sunday May 19 | post #8)
Lots of hot women go there, but only on the weekends. Granted there are also a large number of women who look like Dr. Robotnik. And naturally you have to put up with guys trying to hit on you. The place gets annoying fast if you aren't with a group. You might try some of the Baxter Avenue bars. The crowd is generally young, with a large frat and sorority focus, as well as the usual Highland hipsters (although I think most of them travel over to Old Louisville to hang out at Mag Bar). How the heck does Subway get an order wrong? People order right in front of the prep area. Just yell at them before they put the wrong thing on. Granted I have had problems at a different one with people being unable to tell the difference between Montery Cheddar, and IH&C bread. After 3 times of them grabbing the wrong one I gave up and just accepted the kind they gave me. (Wednesday May 15 | post #12)

For those who don't know what the term whippet means, he was snorting the nitrous oxide from the cans in order to get high. Thankfully the national media chose the absolute least embarrassing thing about our county to report. (Wednesday May 15 | post #4)
I'm not, but I have been to some events hosted by Louisville Munch (they were kind enough to let the goths use their club). I'm not sure if they have a website or not, but you should be able to do a web search, and might try facebook. I have heard people mention some kind of "fey life" website. I don't know the exact link, and I'm not sure if it has any explicit content so I'm not hunting and posting it myself. (Saturday May 11 | post #2)
I really wish there were more coffee shops in Etown. The lines at the Barnes and Noble Starbucks are always insane (at least when I do any shopping there). With the rapidly increasing white collar population in the northern part of the city, and the younger people in other areas, there should really be a much bigger demand. (Thursday May 9 | post #15)
Are there are honest guys left?!?
Have you ladies tried checking in the friend zone, where all the honest guys get put because women aren't attracted to them. (Saturday May 4 | post #27)
What's up with girls being covered in tatoos these days?
The effects of tanning beds aren't necessarily reversible. Tanning speeds up aging and increases wrinkles. In excess, it can give one's skin a leathery texture. And, even in moderation, tanning drastically increases one's risk for skin cancer, which can be fatal. People are free to do as they want (personally I think really tan people look gross, kind of like how the rest of the people on this thread view tattoos), but of all the modern "beauty" practices in America, tanning is by far one of the most dangerous. Personally, I think calling women you never met tramps is kind of trashy. (Wednesday Apr 24 | post #46)
To be honest, it is going to be kind of hard to find a job paying 8 or more, especially if you arent' good at, or desiring, factory work. It's not Etown, but you might try applying at the Lebanon Junction Pilot. It's not necessarily an easy job, and I doubt your starting pay will be as high as you want, but the benefits aren't bad, and it's not hard to get on full time, which is something to be grateful for if you are an unskilled worker. Attire is not a protected status. Any business can ask customers to leave simply for disliking their outfit. Naturally, most places won't say anything unless the clothing is offensive, which your's may have been. Personally, I am uncomfortable with the idea of anyone wearing daisy dukes (the kind where someone's cheeks are actually hanging out) into a grocery store or pharmacy. Just seems unhygienic. Save that stuff for the clubs. (Apr 17, 2013 | post #17)
