Hello, names TommyGuns I'm the director of Public Relations for a local magazine thats primary focus is on community development. I cover events that are happening all over the Reno area. My content is geared for the 21-42 reader, covering local music, events, and general kick ass happenings.
If a biker hits your car oh well, you hit a biker that is a different story. Stop Lights don't register a person on a bike, people open car doors without looking, and riding with ignorant drivers forces bikers to protect themselves. Helmets is all the protection we have, us taking up space more likely is making sure were seen. (Friday Oct 10 | post #4)
Barack Obama in Reno, Nevada Vision on Change
Who really cares what religion he subscribes too. All religions are equally out of date for the modern times. I don't care what religion you are dealing with but as soon as it is interjected into politics, sports, school, anything really it corrupts everything. Anyone who bases any of their arguments off a religion base, has no feet to stand on to begin with. I don't know how we got here, but people need to wake up and instead of looking to the sky for false hopes look in the mirror, and began fixing everything through themselves. If religion taught self confidence and self reliance this world would finally end its depends on false hopes like Jesus, he's not coming back, nor did he ever do anything for you. Because really why would he? (Tuesday Oct 7 | post #9)
I also know may drivers here in Reno have hit bikers, and driven away. I was on of them, and drivers in the city of Reno really do need to slow down. If it takes you an extra minute to go somewhere, good maybe you will save a life. Especially with the economics of the country coupled with the price of gas more people should be riding bikes because it solves a lot of problems. Which the biggest problem of them all are drivers not paying attention, and hurting Reno citizens. (Monday Oct 6 | post #2)
Barack Obama in Reno, Nevada Vision on Change
Regardless the event is happening, and Barack Obama is taking the time to come to Reno, as for other candidates either overlooked, or backed out from coming to Reno. (Monday Sep 29 | post #6)

The SK Baseball Stadium, I believe will bring a lot of positive economic growth to downtown Reno. When looking at a majority of the cities across America, right now, they are experiencing a decrease in city growth. Reno has not suffered as severely as most, which I would directly attribute to the Reno City Council. (Sep 9, 2008 | post #2)
Miss Nevada 2008 Julianna Erdesz

Miss Nevada 2008 Julianna Erdesz
I would have to agree with you on Julianna's sincerity and over all presence. I had no intention on attending the Miss Nevada pageant, until I ran into her inside the Grand Sierra Resort. She not only invited me to the event, but convinced me to come. We had a very interesting conversation about the importance of positive role models, goals, and the youth of today. I was impressed and honored by the meeting, I would like to pass on my support at Miss America. (Jul 27, 2008 | post #2)
