yeah I knew they were into the bad lending on houses and voter fraud. the part i didnt understand was: the guy apparently already had loans for his big truck and house. he fell behind, so ACORN is somehow helping him with a federal program. He didnt say if it was another loan or what. I was confused as to what, exactly, kind of magic wand they had up their sleeve and why only ACORN could fanagle this "program ". (unless of course, they are the actual lenders). My credit cards and loans have an add on to where if i get hospitalized or unemployed, i can miss a few paymts. you would think this guy would have done the same thing. (Nov 4, 2009 | post #20)

Apparently, i need more coffee today. He should have wrote "after i had a stroke, i got behind...". The way he wrote it makes it sound like the stroked out because of the late pymts...lol The guys also says that ACORN was helping work with 2 Federal programs. we had looooads of trick or treaters this year and i have to agree with this mother. While most of them where costumes in taste...we had quite a few young girls that had NO business wearing those costumes. Examples.. "the sexy nurse"...this girl was about 13..wearing VERY short, red sparkly skirt and low cut top, heels and nurses hat. ANother was "raggedy ann"..and veery short skirt, revealing top, pony tails, heels. Why do parents buy this stuff for their kids? (Nov 4, 2009 | post #1)

I'm a foster parent for abused animals here in el paso. The things that people to do to pets are unbelievable!! I'll never understand WHY people bother to get dogs just to leave them in the yard. They're usually unsocialized, no healthcare, neglected, malnourished, and/or abused. When they finally decided the cute puppy they once had is a burden, these pets are usually dumbed. I think people that get caught, like this woman, should have permanent profile where they can NEVER own a pet again.,..not even a goldfish! The abuse and mistreatment of animals will never stop until they make stricter laws and harsher punishments for these people and actually enforce it! (Nov 4, 2009 | post #13)
