Tip your caps

I would say we are two hitters away and one starting pitcher away. Put Tex and one other good hitter mixed in with Roberts, Markakis, Jones, Weiters, and Tripp- the veterans in Tex and Roberts would do wonders.  (May 15, 2008 | post #41)

New indictment charges Bonds with 15 felony counts

And the Orioles would want him why?  (May 14, 2008 | post #5)

Bullpen, Scott pitch in

Wasn't our good buddy Rodrigo Lopez very effective out of the bullpen? I remember one year he pitched there after maybe 1-2 starts and then was LIGHTS OUT. But we have always known he was happier in the starters role (spoiled if you ask me). I hope Johnson knows his value out of the pen and doesnt ask/cry/demand to be part of the rotation. Great WIN!  (May 14, 2008 | post #27)

Tillman showing flashes at Bowie

He will be up in the Majors but the All star game next year I bet... unless he is traded for a big bat.  (May 13, 2008 | post #2)

Shortstop Tucker sparks Delmarva

go to www.baltimoreoriol es.com and they have a link that you can look at every minor league team stat... Penn is doing ok but usually needs 100 pitches to get thru 5-6 innings.  (May 12, 2008 | post #2)

Suggs, Ogden absent from camp

Not a good start for Suggs. It it amazing how immature these "athletes and role models" are. Boo freekin whoooo I will make 8 mil this year but want another 800k because I think I am the shizzle..... Think again rockstar! Only a few "stars" that left the Ravens system are still competing as a high level. the rest are a product of the team.  (May 9, 2008 | post #3)

Complete control

How can you refute Jim Palmer always saying that you cant change what is in the past, learn from it, then put it behind you and move on. If you dwell on the past then thats no good and you will never be able to grow as a person. I think what DCab was trying to say is that he is not worrying about the past because he cant change it. You can only change what you can control and the past is not one of them. And what is with the name calling, eh? I certianly didnt call anyone any names... now you're just being like a child. But I guess I defend DCab too much, but there will always be the ones who always wanna piss on everyone's parade.  (May 9, 2008 | post #53)

Trembley: Bynum is starting shortstop

Blow it out your hole dude. The future is looking better... a few trades and we have a decent team. You really are a damper. There are good things to pull from this season, DCab, Guthrie, Johnson, Olson, Jones is growing and learning....  (May 9, 2008 | post #26)

Trembley: Bynum is starting shortstop

Why not drop Fahey or L Hernandez even though he is out of options for Citron. He is a better hitter than both. But that puts Bynum in a utility role which I think he is better suited to be an everyday player. Maybe he could split time in left with Scott? Luke needs a day off he is slumping terribly.  (May 9, 2008 | post #25)

Get over it! Starters relievers and all players need a short memory so they can forget about what happened last time to better concentrate on doing a good job this time around. If you every played sports you would know that! He has learned from his past of walking people, but there is no need to keep reminding him that you still want him to fail.  (May 9, 2008 | post #45)

Complete control

If you can class DCab with Webb one day then that will be the day the Orioles hope DCab is still on the roster. But he is getting closer to being a better pitcher.  (May 9, 2008 | post #44)

O's fall below .500

Toilet seat have sand paper on it this morning? Geez- if you feel that strongly, move to NY where they buy their teams and cheer for a team that the Orioles will be pounding a couple of years from now.  (May 7, 2008 | post #47)

Local O's pitching prospects reverse roles in minors

I dont know if you package both of them for a young power hitter. Maybe you take your chances and package one of them but probably not both. The orioles are stocked up the yingyang with good young pitchers who could make the O's rotation and bullpen good for a decade or more. I just wish we had the position players to back the pitchers. I mean outside of Weiters who is a legit top tier prospect? It just makes the future a little more interesting...  (May 6, 2008 | post #6)
