A blonde goes into the dry cleaners to drop off a blouse. As she is heading out the door, a lady behind the counter tells her "Come again." The blonde turns to the lady and says "No it's toothpaste this time you nosy b!tch." (Aug 25, 2009 | post #2458)
Cape alleyway to get $70K facelift
Why don't they just shut down the CRA & save that money? Brick crosswalks are beautiful but how many people do you see walking across Cape Coral pkwy? I go downtown frequently & never see anybody walking around there. (Aug 24, 2009 | post #7)
Climate change ranked as a threat to U.S. security
Let's also hope they manage to drop the price of the Volt by at least 1/2. Or another manufacturer makes a much cheaper replacement for the "volt". (Aug 12, 2009 | post #74)
`Cash for Clunkers' Effect on Pollution? A Blip
You are absolutely correct there Brian. Our congress people will be telling us that it isn't their fault the for Crap & Tax bill/law as we the people wanted it. (Aug 7, 2009 | post #52)
`Cash for Clunkers' Effect on Pollution? A Blip
Gee Brian as much as I would like to take credit for somethings, none of these are 'my' programs. I believe the programs that aren't thought through generally come from our congress people who don't care about the U.S. taxpayers. Personally I don't believe in AGW. But I do believe the 'cash for clunkers' is a good program. It keeps many American people employed & in our crappy economy having people employed is a good thing. (Aug 7, 2009 | post #51)
India demands West pay for bold solar energy plans
Yeah why not. The U.S. taxpayers can afford it. Don't believe me? Just ask Obama & his cohorts. Porkulus, Crap & Tax, Universal health care, auto bailouts, all supported by the wallets of taxpayers. (Aug 7, 2009 | post #7)
`Cash for Clunkers' Effect on Pollution? A Blip
So it is your and my fault that GM, Ford & Chrysler design & manufacture cars we don't want or can't afford? Gee we have way more influence than I imagined. LOL. No shortage? I'll have to agree with you on that. (Aug 7, 2009 | post #49)
`Cash for Clunkers' Effect on Pollution? A Blip
Yet, some people are bitching that the money wasn't reserved for 'made in America' cars. How many GM, Ford & Chrysler cars are 100% American made anyway? But alot of 'foreign' cars are actually made in America. Toyota, Mitsubishi, etc have plants here in America. And it is NOT our fault that GM, Ford & Chrysler weren't planning and/or building fuel effecient cars many years ago. (Aug 7, 2009 | post #45)
`Cash for Clunkers' Effect on Pollution? A Blip
Exactly right. Any thing other than the $3500 or $4500 is given by the car manufaturer. And there are some really good rebates that with this 'cash for clunkers' rebate put cars in a much more affordable price range. What I don't understand about all the nay-sayers is don't they realize that all these cars are sold here in America. Maybe they aren't all made in America but they are sold here. And dealerships are keeping sales people, title clerks, technicians, parts people and others working. What the hell is wrong with that? (Aug 7, 2009 | post #42)

Media Tend To Doomsay When Addressing Environmental Issues
These "talking points given by the fossil-fuel PR program, which IS a program of tricks and deception" that the link I tried originally to post was directly from: http://www.cbo.gov /ftpdocs/103xx/doc 10327/06-19-CapAnd TradeCosts.pdf It was their (CBO) quote Matt, NOT mine. And now you are insinutating that the CBO is working with "fossil-fuel PR program"? (Jul 15, 2009 | post #29)
