Well the way I see it is, If you date someone who has children, and a ex wife you better get use to it. Every relationship comes with a price. His past is still going to be his present and future. If you don't deal with it and accept it your relationship will not last. And getting on here and telling them to get a life. That will not solve anything or make it better. Maybe you should perhaps think about your own advice before giving it out to others. I don't know you, but that is just how it seems to me.  (Tuesday Dec 15 | post #75)

kala hawks rest in peace

I don't know this young lady that you speak of but unless the doctor stated this girls name not sure how that is proof at all. Do you know how many young girls overdose everyday. So like I stated before not sure how a doctor stating they just had a young girl come in from a Overdose is saying it was her. Not to mention when a young person passes away the first assumption is a overdose. The doctor himself may have jumped to conclusions that is why we have Medical Examiners.  (Monday Dec 7 | post #72)

Autism

Autism and Alcoholism

No I don't know any adults with Asperger's Syndrome, nor recovering alcoholics with it. Are you trying to ask a question that you need or want to know the answer to, about how these 2 conditions fit together or something to that extend? Or dealing processes?  (Nov 11, 2009 | post #5)

He said he is a recovering alcoholic he should not drink at all. It is not a learned behavior or something that can be moderated. I am sure you were talking about the autism part not the Alcoholic part.  (Nov 11, 2009 | post #4)

Who are all the gay people?

As I replied to her, I believe that comment was for me. Basically because I implied the same thing as you. Her ISP is from West Hamlin. Located of course in Lincoln County.  (Nov 11, 2009 | post #18)

I am going to guess this comment was meant for me, based on the fact you did not like my comment to you. First of all My father lives in South Carolina, Second of all, I know longer live in Lincoln County, all though I am proud that is where I grew up. Third of all were you not taught how to be proper? Telling someone to kiss your $$$ grow up. Backwoods, Wrong turn hillbilly. What does that mean in YOUR terms anyway?  (Nov 11, 2009 | post #17)

Shadow I have to agree, If I was dying or hurt, I don't think I am going to care who is holding the oxygen mask or keeping me from bleeding to death, or going into shock. I am just going to be thankful that it is a trained EMT there by my side. Sexual preference is not important to me. Well Trained on the other hand means a lot.  (Oct 28, 2009 | post #6)

Friend- I did the assessment that you posted it is right on. Wonderful tool to use. My daughter scored a 148. When my son was diagnosed it took 2 days so not to over exert him. Everyone that was close to him, parents, grandparents, teachers or daycare workers were given questionnaires to fill out. To help them get a perspective from everyone's point of view. I suppose because others may see what I may not have or the other way around. But it was extensive. They spent many hours with him, doing many tests. I nor my husband was allowed in there it was just my son and the specialist doing the testing. Then we had to go back for the results which was weeks later. I guess once they were looked at and tallied. So I do believe that The question Matt asked about this site could not be official.  (Oct 28, 2009 | post #10)

Friend is absolutely correct. I know exactly how you feel. I went through the same thing, I am still in the process of trying to get my 5 year old diagnosed.  (Oct 24, 2009 | post #3)

I don't know what causes Autism and neither do you. I also do not know if my 3rd child is autistic. What I do know however is that my 3rd child is completely different from my other 2 children. She seems to be unaffected by it. I know as others have stated it is hard to tell at this time. As I stated previously only time will tell. I will find out soon enough and go from there. If she is I will love her as I love my other 2 children. Read my Post to friend. It will tell you the rest. I noticed a problem with my other 2 children fairly early. I seen the signs and set helpless. I see no problems with my 3rd as of yet, like I said time will tell.  (Oct 21, 2009 | post #9)

I enjoy reading your comments I have read them all. As I stated before I am not saying vaccines are the cause. Or am I saying my 3rd child is not affected all I am saying is that I am seeing what comes about from it. I have already spoke to her pediatrician it is possible to get her caught up later if I choose to do so. You having a autistic child should understand where I am coming from. Know one knows the true cause. I am not saying I am doing right nor am I saying I am doing wrong. Only time will tell I suppose.  (Oct 21, 2009 | post #8)

I don't need a study I have done a experiment of my own. I have two children that are Autistic, a 9 year old boy and 5 year old girl. They have all immunizations. I also have a 1 year old little girl whom has never been immunized. At the age of one she is responding to her name, familiar voices and people. Tries to respond verbally. Great eye contact, loves to play and interact. When in a game such as patty cake or peek a boo she will interact along and when the game stops she initiates by making noise, and clapping hands to get it to continue. As well as many other wonderful things most babies her age are suppose to be doing. I believe that she is fine. What I am doing is not exactly what you would consider a controlled experiment but it seems to satisfy my curiosity for the time being. So any input would be accepted.  (Oct 16, 2009 | post #5)
