Star 105.7 Christmas Music NOW?
I love Christmas, and snow but have always hated Christmas music, except on Christmas day! I am not from the GR area and Ive noticed its the only area ive ever lived in that plays this music before Thanksgiving when it has not even snowed yet. It is so asinine to me to hear about this. I've been wearing shorts & T shirts lately when not at work and driving with windows down because of how warm & sunny its been here lately! Christmas is the very last thing on my mind!!! I dont listen to much radio in West Michigan because most of it is awful, especially the ones that play Christmas music so early. Get a life if you purposely tune it on at this time of year! Metallica concert: who was there?
Im a lifelong rock fan, mainly classic rock, not metal. I know im going to upset my buddy Chad, but I have never liked Metallica. There are other bands that are heavier than I love and of course classic rock that is older and not as heavy that i love. Metallica just doesnt do it for me. I think the main reason is that I think James has always been just a terrible singer. I can list endless hardrock/metal singers I not only like better, but know are truly much better at singing than James. (Thursday Nov 12 | post #21)
Should WOODTV get rid of Suzanne Geha?
I agree with you Kevin! Geha is just one of the many here in the Grand Rapids market that should not be on air for several reasons. She is not attractive whatsover, over hypes stupid stories that should not even make the news, makes asinine facial expressions, etc. The list is endless with how annoying her and most of the on-air staff at WoodTV 8 is. I do not regularly watch them because of this, but when I flip to 8 because I feel like it, nothing has changed, its still full of silly crap and junk covering up half of the bottom of the screen, etc. (Thursday Nov 5 | post #155)

I've lived in West Michigan for almost 10 yrs now, and all 3 news stations are definitely very different from each other. 13 & 17 are both pretty good and very tolerable, modern, and appealing. Wood TV 8's approach is just flat out annoying. About half of their on-air staff is weird. No other way to say it. This Geha lady is among the most annoying on-air news personalities I have ever seen on any channel my entire life! (Friday Oct 30 | post #147)

It is a great thing though how well these cars are built. I dont want to see any drivers killed, but I just like it when the ones I dislike are spun out & wrecked and get all pissy lol. LOL Joe is a good guy, but because he played for the much-hated Cubs thats another reason we dont like the Yankees! Im a Brewers Fan! I wouldnt mind if it went all 7 games as long as Philly won. We dont have any kids, not yet anyway. We are content for now and I like playing the uncle role to my niece & nephew. Kids are not for everyone. I like to think I want kids someday, but I am mainly thinking of when they are teenagers so I can coach them in sports and say "Atta boy son, great game!" ,not when they are little and naughty stinkers lol. No matter how good the economy is getting, or will get, it doesnt matter to those who have no job and have a hard time making ends meet, or simply cannot make ends meet! Our company is slow just like everyone else's, and I've seen co-workers get laid off the last 2 yrs and it sucks. So until the unemployment in this state drastically drops, not many will be happy!
