Permethrin Works, Helps and Hurts - my scabies story
I tried it and can tell you it was a complete waste of money and time. When your products do not cure your telephone staff try to resell you more of the same implying that I (your customer) didn't follow your instructions or didn't use your products long enough. Essential oils and enzymes do not have any effect whatsoever on these Scabies mites. You guys are spamming to make money off of peoples misery. If your products worked, none of us would be on this forum. Please stop trying to sell us your snake oils, they do not work, period. It's a rip-off! (Mar 9, 2013 | post #248)
Hello All, I just want to make a point that using 71% or 91% Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol mixed with your topicals significantly improves skin penetration. There are real success stories from people who use Eprinex with Citra Solv and Rubbing Alcohol. I believe your species of mite has a lot to do with what will cure, or not cure in the end. There are thousands of mite species and they are unique in their behaviors. I've read the posts on other threads suggesting that everyone get off the toxic poisons like permethrin, etc., but after suffering with this for over five years I can tell you that I have tried all, or most, of the non-toxic Scabies remedies and they simply do not work. Praying, going for brisk walks, taking vitamins will not cure you! In my case, I have achieved a level of success by taking daily hot baths with Lye or bleach with Epsom Salts that help me exfoliate. Exfoliating is something everyone here must do every day because it opens up the mite burrows so the Lye or bleach can kill them. You must exfoliate. I do alternating topicals and for now that is working well. One final thing, I was reading that in countries like Brazil and Jamaica the people take wood chips from the Quassia Amara tree and they steep the wood chips in to a tea. The tea protects them from catching lice, mites, and even ticks in these hot tropical regions. I have ordered the tea, already in tea bags, online and I will let you know if it has any effect on my condition. But again, many of us have a different mite species so what may cure me may not cure you. It's hit and miss. But you have to make the effort and find what works best for you. God Bless. Dylan Redwine billboard goes up in Colo. Springs
This is a ugly thread concerning a sad situation. I remember hearing about this missing boy and wondered if there was any news. It sounds like everyone knows each other here. From an outsiders point of view I just have one question. Is everything being done to find him? Why is everyone so angry? (Jan 21, 2013 | post #26)
Cindilu: Please do not direct message me. I do not give advice and I only check the forum threads once a week. I have never met Dr. Amin. (Jan 14, 2013 | post #943)
And I second that! Fred, please find some other way to fill your time. You are a expert of nothing so your advice has no validity. You are harming people and we are tired of it. (Jan 12, 2013 | post #904)
Fred, you are a terrible man and a liar! I never once said that I was hospitalized! You are the reason these Scabies threads are the mess they are. People like you cannot be trusted. How do you live with yourself after deceiving so many people time after time, using different aliases to manipulate innocent Scabies sufferers who come here for help? You are a cruel and evil person. Shame on you! (Jan 11, 2013 | post #901)
Proven Medical Solutions verses "natural" or internet sit...
Your links are of old info, and most everyone here has been applying 45% Permethrin for years. No deaths that we are aware of. The 45% perm knocks the mites back. If your links were accurate the 45% perm should be powerful enough to cure, but it doesn't. More evidence the mites have evolved. Most people here know by their own experience that your suggested treatment regime will not cure. But go ahead and try to make the case. We know better. (Jan 2, 2013 | post #4)
You are misinformed. We are living this nightmare, I am not here to school you. You sound naive. I am a retired school teacher with grandchildren I cannot embrace because I am contagious. There is no argument or dated medical info that changes the current reality of this terrible condition. And your posts are selling a lie. (Jan 2, 2013 | post #4)

Permethrin 5% Cream is not available in central America. I know this for a fact. The dose prescribed by doctors in central America is 12mg ivermectin tablets once a week for two weeks. People are not being cured there because they are not taking the weight based dose and topicals are not available. In the United States oral ivermectin and Permethrin 5% cream are prescribed but doctors quickly learn these are no longer effective. So do some research and you will find what I am saying is true. And I am none to happy about it. (Jan 2, 2013 | post #4)
How have you cured you scabies problem
I don't know who you are or why you are here. Could it be to sell some remedy? There is no known cure for Scabies right now. The old drugs and remedies have very little effect on this new resistant strain of skin parasite mites. I am not the only long term sufferer on this Scabies forum who has communicated directly with the Centers for Decease Control, the Mayo Clinic, and others in search for help. Ask any infectious decease specialist or experienced dermatologist and they will tell you their hands are tied with outdated meds. If I thought some other country is more advanced than the U.S. I would by a plane ticket and go there for help. You must understand these mites are just like the insects that attack food crops. Every year the farmers have to use different pesticides because the insects have a unique ability to adapt and become resistant to pesticides year after year. It's no different with mites. Ivermectin and Permethrin can be purchased online for large dogs, horses, cattle, etc., no prescription necessary. But the mites barely react to them. As for being delusional, I have all the medical tests that prove I have Scabies. In my case the doctors have done all they can until something new comes along. I have no reason to lie about this. I received a message from one of you asking if I ever tried Sulfur Ointment as a treatment by itself? Honestly, I used Sulfur soaps for months and didn't see a benefit. However, I never tried the Sulfur Ointment regime. It's the one where you buy four of the little 2.6 oz plastic jars from Mexico with 10% sulfur for about $5 each. And you apply the ointment all over your body scalp to the soles of your feet and leave it on your skin for 12 hours at a time for four days straight. I have heard stories that you can by cured by the 10% Sulfur Ointment if you completely cover your body with it. Of course it's messy and stains clothing so you'll be forced to stay at home naked using a few large plastic trash bags to sit on. How it works is the ointment has a strong odor and seals the burrows, after a while the mites climb out to breathe and contact with the Sulfur Ointment supposedly burns them up. There is a case study on curing Scabies with Sulfur Ointment. But to do it you better have lots of free time to be naked with it all over your skin. I've been alternating between the topical borax with hydrogen peroxide and then taking a few days off to apply Freedom 45 Permethrin but I think I will try the Sulfur Ointment treatment regime and see what happens. Couldn't hurt, and it's certainly inexpensive. (Jan 2, 2013 | post #3177)
I have reported this post as abusive because you are spamming it over several threads and you are giving bad advice on top of it. You also don't know what you are talking about. (Dec 30, 2012 | post #4)
This post is inaccurate and old information. It's like SPAMMING. (Dec 30, 2012 | post #3)

Why have you repeated this post on several threads? YOU ARE WRONG! YOU ARE CLUELESS! You are pimping the old treatment regime and that regime no longer cures! (Dec 30, 2012 | post #2)
