Horse from Springbrook & Earl - Alive & Well!!! OK Guys - Enough is Enough!

WOW!!!! This has gone way to far!! I do not know any of these players personally. Only as a customer of the ranch. When I first went to the ranch I was told to go to this site - they wanted me to be fully aware of what was going on. It takes a person who is confident in themselves to send a stranger to this website. I am seriously thinking of buying one of the horses at the ranch and boarding it there. I do hope that the threats that have been made against the ranch are not true. The animals have nothing to do with this. As a customer now and in the years to come I hope the ranch is not harmed as it is doing a lot of good. The horses are being well taken care of and kids are happy. I hope that people will use their good senses and see for themselves what this ranch and the trail rides are like. Again, I truly pray that no animal or person is hurt on this ranch. If I owned the ranch, I would be checking into liable issues as I, a customer of the ranch, am worried about the safety of my horse; and on another forum a woman in Rice Lake is worried about her children going to the ranch.  (Sep 29, 2009 | post #18)

How old are the children? If very young I would go with them, older they would have a ball!!! I have not checked into what the youth program entails as I (well I wish I could be considered a youth!) Common sense should always prevail when around a horse. They need to listen carefully and learn when around any animal. I have always felt safe but have always done what Gina and Cory have instructed. Go there and see for yourself!  (Sep 29, 2009 | post #55)

ONLY BELIEVE WHAT YOU SEE FOR YOURSELF!!!!!! I have gone to Wisconsin Equine Rescue and Youth Ranch several times over the last few weeks. I have gone on four trail rides which are given by "kicken Country Trail Rides", owned by someone other than Gina and Cory. I have not once felt that I have been put in danger. I have not once ridden through a herd of horses. I have ridden a different horse each of the four times. I have had a wonderful time on each of these rides! This is a compliment to both the owner of kickin country for the ride but also to Gina and Cory for the wonderfully tempered horses used for the rides. As I said I rode a different horse each time and felt safe on every one. They are obviously well taken care of. For the ranch itself, Gina and Cory take you in and you automatically feel part of the family. I have brought my kids and my grandchildren out on these rides. My grandkids have been there several times just to see and pet the horses. They are given instruction on how to move slowly so as not to scare the horse. It has been a very safe and friendly environment. Regarding checking out someone's personal background by going to wcca.wicourts.gov, I did this. But I also checked out the plaintiff on the recent horse thieving issue. To be honest I would rather have the simple money problems that Gina has had than the problems he has had. If you are going to check out one, please check out the other in fairness. Again, I can't stress enough how much fun I have had at the ranch. I plan on going quite often and continuing to take my 3 and 5 year-old grandchildren. It has been a long time since I have been this happy. PLEASE SEE FOR YOURSELF!!!!  (Sep 29, 2009 | post #53)
