Ban on high-capacity clips to be introduced Tuesday

British people never understand why Americans are so attached to their weapons; their opinions are so popular that many Americans can't understand it either--it is often falsely blamed on "how the west was won". Well it is not. It is about being able to defend yourself from government atrocities and oppression of the people, about being able to hold your own should government fail to be able to. Theis right has already been taken away by the arms laws already in place, there is no way to pose a threat to anyone on a wide scale with pistols of any kind--automobiles, yes; ieds yes, but even the chemicals for those are illegal. And the national guard isn't going to be here to help you/us ehen it happens.  (Jan 18, 2011 | post #632)

Actually, the father of the girl is so against gun laegislation that he said at a memorial for her "...these things happen in a free society...but the alternative is even more horrendous." That is in reference to the legalistic approach so many radiclas take to such events, why don't we just become like Saudi Arabia--in a few years there won't be anyone left to challenge the iron fist, because they will all have been executed, lost their hands, or tongue, r joined some radical extremist religion.  (Jan 18, 2011 | post #628)

There were other gun owners at the shooting, and at least one of them had their gun with them (gabby did not, but she will wish she did). The problem was that the people were so packed in that if one had pulled to shoot the kid, then they probably would have shat bystanders as well. As for outlawing multi-round clips: if it had not been for the extended clip, the gun would not have jammed. All but the highest quality combat full-auto-pistols break a spring when so many shots are fired from it quickly, and the extended clip puts undue stress on it. The extended clip is what saved the people from a quick reload and shoot.  (Jan 18, 2011 | post #623)

The Constitution doesn't matter when it comes to US government, it hasn't for a long time. The local militias (national guard ) were taken away from the states and put under the president by Georgey; Clinton outlawed many wepons--cannons, tanks, mortars, assault rifles, combat weapons, automatics; one of his predecessors (and him) made it illegal to have more than 3 shots in a rifle; weapons (of any kind) are not allowed in national parks..... We don't have to look too far to see why the constitution is being plowed under--- Johnson allowed the sale of us dollars to fund vietnam. During Nixon the royals and other foriegn interest threatened to call in the dollars (which amounted to way more than our gold,) Nixon made delas with all countries, and ngo, and royals especially for a new dollar not based on the gold which would promise to bbe a boon for all those holding dollars., and allowed them to invest in Amercian market. Reagan made deal with international community and globalists as part of the brekdown of the ussr the us would face breakdown within 50 years--Gorbachev required this as a condition of his sell-out and bringing down the wall a few years ahead of schedule. With this deal he allowed foreign governments and sovereign families to purchase lodal titles to US land which would make it part of their country (Us citizens still cannot do this). Clinton followed the deal with slow disarmament, and efforts to take down the cold war devices set up by the US. Georgey...and the Saudis...nuff said. Obama has not changed one order of Bush because they are all orders from our governments master puppeteers--the royal families of the world--and he thinks he cares more about his family than his country.  (Jan 18, 2011 | post #620)

Obama leads moment of silence for Tucson shooting victims

Mexico IS a first world country, and the others you mention are socialist and monarchies who disarmed their people so they would not have to worry about an uprising. Of course, the US has already been disarmed: automatics, assaults, rifles with more than 3 shots, and the national guard (local militia) all fully controlled by the president. I am actually quite surprised the guy didn't go for the number 1 choice of weapons for homicide--the automobile. There would have been many more casualties and injuries (and it wouldn't have cost him as much). Gun control does not work, proper education and culture does. Do you really believe that this guy cared one bit about laws?  (Jan 18, 2011 | post #1474)

China and religious freedom

Since America claims there should be no law with respect to any religion, but does not follow it--constitutional ly no. Since China views religion as a form of insanity, as most people of the 20th-21st century, and is under consatnt threat of overthrow by western religious extremists--it would be a ridiculous waste of breath. Since the god lie began as a lie and made only lies and liars, Obama would be wise to attempt to retain some form of integrity and avoid the issue of religion all together. Our own human rights issues are hardly better at the moment, and we are censuring nearly as much if not as much from our media--because of religious extremists here.  (Jan 18, 2011 | post #1)

Congresswoman shot, alive in surgery in Arizona

You mean like in the 1850's when British steel corporations hired Pinkerton to smash in doors of strikers and blew their heads off in their living rooms in front of the wives and kids if they did't go with them to work? Then the when the strikers took up arms against them the president sent in the military (national guard) to arest all the strikers for murder and help pinkerton? Is this the kind of scenario to which you refer? It was a good thing then that Amercias's policy was to take prisoners; the strikers told them and showed them what was going on, and the guard turned against the pinko's. As the the father of that 9 year old said today--this is a horrible tragedy that happens on occasion in all free societies....but the alternative is even more horrendous. By the way, don't let your concealed weapons permit lapse even if your state allows you to carry without it--that allowance is just a ploy to make it really hard to get the permit after everyone has let them lapse.  (Jan 10, 2011 | post #837)

Impaired lawmakers typically serve out their terms

I hope she recovers quickly, and the loss of the left side of her brain causes her to become a western gun-slinging flower child. Then maybe there'd be at least one congress person representing the other 64% of the people. Wouldn't it be great if she caused the war to end and all that money thrown ito royal pockets over the past decades werer rediirected to help the needy people in our own country, ans schools--like it was promised to before the war mongers conspired for how to puppet the world.  (Jan 10, 2011 | post #1)

Tea Party Express: Shooting blame is 'outrageous'

Come to think of it...it is too bad Loughner was a democrat, if he had been a repugnantone, he could have let off steam with the tea-baggers and exercised his rights in a so-called healthy fashion. If he had known me, I could have taught him the joys of effigies, but he is messed up since he was bon, and shouldn't have been. (His mother was guilted ourt of abortion.)  (Jan 10, 2011 | post #7)

He probably said that before he was disenchanted with the truth of politics, that both the republicans and the democrats are puppets of the royal families and global old money daddies of the world--especially saudi-arabia (since georgey went to bed with them). Yep, sold all of our banks to them, our hummer company, and much of the continent. Used to be dems want to regulate hevily on corporate business and reps want to heavy-hand the people. Now, they are both tied up and into the puppeteers (according to plan so far). You can find our with truth or consequences (hint hint) He supportedd Gabrielle in 2007, and like many of her other supporters that aren't big enough for her anymore, became somewhat frustrated with the process of petitioning your congressman all to no avail reslut or even return of correspondence. I do hope the reason she got shat in the back of the head isn't because she turned her head, and said, "Oh god, here comes this goof again." Like others, he had tried repeatedly to get addressed, after he had helped her campaign--but only got the snub. Whether it is her or her office staff or both, I don't know, but it is politics a usual in America [just look at Jerry Brown blowhard and his union relations--that guy had better wise up fast, and the security details should be working on how to get elected officials to hear the people who got them elected better--before more crazy radicals get disenfranchised.] The releasing of steam to prevent riots and radicals to keep from doing what this guy did--THAT IS ALL THE TEA-BAGGER MOVEMENT IS ABOUT appeasement, and venting. [No real change anywhere, the royals who hold all our bucks might cash them in.] There is what the world needs to know, in your face.  (Jan 10, 2011 | post #6)

Tea Party Express: Shooting blame is 'outrageous'

This article is correct. It is outrageous that people would leverage an incident such as this to further their own political agendas. Loughner wasn't the only one with a gun there, and there was at least one gun at many other gatherings in town--even non-political gatherings. There are more hand-guns in Tucson per-capita than there are cars. AND...I add that we all love to exercise our constitutional rights, here--both democrats and republicans. Most Tucsonans are real Americans, not like you imperialist immigrants from europe and saudi-arabia that are used to fascist royal rulers telling you what is good for you. I would like to tell you what the 9 year old's father had to say at her memorial today, "Umm, this is the kind of thing that happens in a free society; while it is horrible and tragic, the alternative is far more horrendous." I am pretty sure he is not a tea-bagger. I hope even more people will start carrying guns--so radicals and fascists won't feel so empowered or threatened by them. Disarming the people really is the quickest way to tyranny, from government and radicals alike. Now, that we have no local militia(since Bush put the guard under the exclusive authority of the fed, and Obama likes Bush's policies) we really need to rearm the people. Don't like it? You are free to move bakd to your tyranical kingdoms of origin, and quit trying to take over Americans politics. Want to come on down to Tucson and go out into the desert to shoot effigies of tea-baggers, get you frustrations out? Promise I won't shoot you, or let you shoot me--accidentally. (Unless you try to shoot a tree; thems my friends. I'm a tree-hugging fool.) If you want to shoot Palin, ya gotta do it now; if she becomes president it will be illegal to even make effigies of her (the feds are afraid of voo-doo ever since georgey got in office)  (Jan 10, 2011 | post #4)

Ariz. congresswoman shot in head

Limbaugh is a prescription drug fiend freak, and a radical extremist for attention. If he had used pot instead of freek then he wouldn't be so fat addicted and in so much pain, and would probably also be laid back enough to enjoy his life--pain free. However, if he had been caught with his pot, like he was with his illegal freek, then he'd be doing more time than ... that jewish head on wallstreet that ripped off all the greed y rich people who even after being told that their money woudl be better used to help people insisted that he bend the rules to get then in to closed deals--oh yeah, Maddoff, that is his name. he is doing less time that people caught ising marijuana, and never commiteted a violent crime or stole from anyone. Long tongue Limbaugh in the brown eye again--it is kinda funny.  (Jan 10, 2011 | post #327)

Ariz. congresswoman shot in head

It isn't. This has nothing to do with the tea-baggers. They only wish and hope they could be so important. He was a disturbed kid due to abandonment, neglect, and abuse issues. Got his hopes up that his American ideals were real; then went to college to learn that all he was taught in grade shool was a farce, and this is not a democracy. He thought he could get invloved in the political process, and tried to. Then, most likely as with others, her office snubbed him and his correspondence. Like many politicians do after they have got their position secured--snubbing their supporters that got them elected. It is a strong message to our public officials to not cow-tow to oppressive interests--their own, or that of their royal puppeteers around the world. He had run ins with law enforcement oppression of his chosen culture, and to have his correspondence snubbed like that probably pushed him into the ozone--being born into the sinking sands of this society (his mother should have got that abortion). You do realize that Obama is a confessed felon, for being a crack-head. Any one else not in the upper etchelon would be ivestigateda and caught with their roach of weed and been doing 10 to 20 for drug use and possession. This, was one of his problems, the criminalization of pot beyond that of armed robbery; the ignorance and failure of the educational system that lied to him for so many years that he couldn't graduate from, but could grade into college; his perceived violations of the bill of rights and Us constituibn by the federal gov ernment, etc.. But he should have burned or beat effigies, it is legal for everyone but the president. PLEASE NOTE GABBY WAS NOT THE TARGET! he went there with 100 rounds of ammunition, he was on a rampage.  (Jan 10, 2011 | post #324)

You know, as I write what I know to be so aboout this, at htis time, I almost cry. I liked Gabrielle, she was a good Arizonan, and an American--very American about it. (I wanted to date her.) Now, I think about the people I've knowknown who have lost their left-brain due to trauma or stroke. She is not going to be the same person, and all of them I've known came out very hippy, abstract and turned very new-age. I don't htink she is going to have her electra complex anymore, she may not even remember having married goofy square shorts, and wonder why. Of course, if she had been more hippy before, then we probably would have dated. I hope she keeps her 6 shooter and takes a likeing to dressing fancy western again. She always did strike me as a good gun-slinger mamma. (Really. I know things that will never be said, not even by me.)  (Jan 10, 2011 | post #804)
