Concerning Partial to NO Police Protection As Tax-Paying Citizens of Baxter it is your right to have the police protection that is promised and is listed in our City Ordinances: Title 1, Chapter 4; Section 1-402 stating: Police to preserve law and order, etc. Policemen shall preserve law and order within the town. They shall patrol the town and shall assist the town court during the trial of cases. Cookeville Woman Arrested For Husband's Stabbing Death

Just want to say how awful this is going to always be on those two little girls; May God Bless them both. Yes, I two know the family and how sad all this turned out to be for everyone. Yes they were both horrible toward each other and awful things did happen through out the 10 years of them being together. At the time of the murder they were not married and had not been for 3 years, but for some reason they could not stay away from each other. There were many more instances that happend and far too many of them were never reported but for all of those that were maybe the law should have stepped in and taken those little girls out of there. I know about several things that did happen in that home and a whole lot of them were in front of the children and that's a damn shame!!! I know his mother had gotten temporary custody of the children and hope that's where they get to stay. Keep them in your thoughts and send lots of prayers their way, they're going to need them.  (Oct 31, 2009 | post #19)
