"Necessary Evil"?? I wish we had those necessary evils.....at least they have pumps and the water is being pumped down to avoid flooding out the home owners. They won't pump our water anymore. We believe *they* would rather just flood us out. It is sad when a few are swept under the rug. Our lake could be the solution for the areas problems. Come down and check us out on Miller Rd., Orange City (borderline DeBary)... Miller Lake. The huge thorn in *Orange City, DeBary, Volusia County, DOT & SJRWM's* sides. No... I absolutely did not. I had questions that had to do with the water...not a sale. As I speak it is raining again.........and my anxiety level is through the roof. What I have been "trying to do" is get them to PERMANENTLY FIX the problem that they have repeatedly failed to do. The Cities, County, DOT, SJRWM....there are many hands in this.. NO MORE BANDAID FIXES!!!.......... ...... Bandaid fixes are for losers or for those that have NO CLUE.  (Jul 31, 2009 | post #109)

your being silly now.... what value?, when it has gone back to mother earth like it should have always been? Just like the other homes and businesses that should never been approved to be built....and flooded or still flood or are threatened daily to flood..... they too need to go back to mother earth. Do you own homes at each of those addresses? You have to verify that 1st. What are the addresses you are trying to check? I just checked my sisters home on Seminole and it pulled up the info on Lake and DeBary Dr. for comparisons. This tool is good. However a CMA or Sellers Market Update gives you the seller or buyer even better information. I am not a broker.... My Brokers are John & Bob Adams. I am a REALTOR.  (Jul 29, 2009 | post #105)

agreed......... higher ups that knew and should have done the right thing. Now it is biting all of them in the *ss It will continue to get worse....... all they do is bandaid fixes......but no permanent fix. Areas that haven't flooded before will now probably flood too. Yes.. I am a Real REALTOR. I have been in this area... most of my life. I would not be angry with David....... I would be mad at the cities and county for not fixing their drainage issues........and yet...they kept developing. Those are who you should be tossing barbs at. I would never sell anyone anything or any place that I knew flooded ...... I have a duty to disclose if I did know. But from a personal non REALTOR stand point and someone who lives the flood nightmare....... I could never do it to someone else.......have them live with it daily. I will not not feed the greed.
