It's time to free Ramsey Muniz
How long should a person stay in prison for drugs? Why would Muniz have all these drugs as he was a successful attorney? These are just some of the questions raised. (Feb 27, 2012 | post #1)
jarhead - yeah blame it on spellcheck. Its people like me WHO not that --if you're really a moron. Iraq wasn't attacking us, the war was illegal. (Feb 25, 2012 | post #12)
You went to collage? LOL (Moron) Either you're lying or you didn't learn to spell or write. Yes it hits a nerve - we pay taxes so people like you can get an education, and its obviously wasted. (Feb 20, 2012 | post #8)
Spy any research to back that up? Even if it was true -this doesn't absolve jarhead. (Feb 18, 2012 | post #6)
jarhead - Your English is worse than many immigrants. We paid taxes so you could finish 5th Grade and learn our language. At least the immigrants can write a decent sentence in Spanish- you can't write one in your own language. (Feb 17, 2012 | post #3)

Winter Texans flocking to warm coastal towns

Judge William Adams beats daughter for using the internet
Morris you only read the portions you wanted to or maybe your reading level is low. You list somewhere in NM as your address so I doubt you care about this county. I think Adams should resign, but knew there was nothing in the Penal Code that could get him. However I have a good idea who will get the appointment and I've seen him mess up even the most simple cases- he has also allowed a con to operate who prays on little girls. I could provide more details but you just want to spout off, but don't pretend you care about this county. (Nov 7, 2011 | post #46)
Judge William Adams beats daughter for using the internet
I'm a Rockport Resident and I practice law here. If the judge resigns Perry will appoint a political hack. Guaranteed. I've spoken with the judge this morning and heard his side. Still because I have never hit my daughter or my dog, I have a lot of trouble with someone using a belt on someone else. He is not up for election next year and this county only cares about political parties as do many places. People have been calling and asking me to run but I don't like either party and enjoy the state bar position I have now. There are young clerks in our courthouse getting horrible phone calls from crazy people.. Someone did run against Adams several years back but she was a well known drunk who got arrested during the campaign. (Nov 3, 2011 | post #38)
Avoiding Spam Filters for mailouts
I hate spam and am not selling anything. I just like to inform people in my profession and there are 90,000 of em in Texas about issues I believe important. I use Microsoft Outlet 1 Does it matter what email address one uses as in AOL or Gmail etc? 2. Would a custom email be better such as Jonsonlaw.com? 3 Are there certain words that trigger spam filters? (Oct 31, 2011 | post #1)
I called them out of curiosity and they do have a city attorney named Asisi (sp) think he's from Corpus. (Sep 12, 2011 | post #27)

Houston residents escape to Rockport

Headline:
El Pasoan in Rockport, TX
Neighborhood:
Sunset Heights (now the ocean)
Favorite Things:
Animals -have a wildlife refuge, Cal- Berkeley Indiana University UTEP Sam Houston and North Texas sports teams.
On My Mind:
I love Rockport its a small scenic and traffic, pollution free ocean town on the near Corpus Christi, but I always miss ELP.
I Believe In:
EL Paso but as I wrote in the Sunday Times Guest Editorial ASARCO must be stopped from re-opening. Not only has it always been dangerous but it gives others a bad image of ELP.
