Do You Support Unification for Paloma Valley High?

Unification is the process of moving Paloma Valley High School into the Menifee Union School District. This will give Menifee residents greater control of Paloma Valley High School, and will actually result in Menifee Union School District receiving more state funding overall. The downside is that the Perris High School District will lose several white students with this move, leaving its own district with an abnormally high percentage of latino students. This actually violates the State's policies on unification proceedings. Despites this legal difficultly with moving Paloma Valley High School to Menifee Union School District, do you still support this unification effort?  (Jun 11, 2008 | post #1)

The problem is that there is no city. The county typically does not fund any road improvements either. What they do is bring a home developer, let them build some homes, and then ask THEM to make some road improvements.  (Dec 18, 2007 | post #2)

Do You Support Measure G?

A VHS bond measure requires a 2/3 majority vote to pass, not a simple majority. This is why Measure I failed. The people now moving into Menifee, Hemet, and San Jacinto are coming from LA, SD, and OC, and they're used to privately run healthcare systems. This is why we've come to this point. The demographics of this region has changed dramatically over the past 10 years. It's no longer a place of farmers and retirees. The people who now call this place their home don't understand the concept of public healthcare districts. That's why they don't support them. Take a look at Temecula and Murrieta. Their hospitals are privately owned and operated, and they provide better service than VHS. As long we have those two private hospitals running effectively and profitably, it's going to make it tougher to convince voters here to keep a publicly run district going.  (Nov 10, 2007 | post #72)

Lake Elsinore fumes..

Lake Elsinore has historically been known as the town of trailer trash and gangs. But in the past couple of years, things are taking a turn for the better. Stay away from the lake area, the neighborhood is blighted there. Either move in at the north boundary off of Lake Street, or move east off of Railroad Canyon Rd.  (Oct 22, 2007 | post #7)

Clinton Keith is going to connect to Winchester, this is already in the planning stages. Wildomar is not a city, it's county. The county has no impetus to make communities look nice. Any beautifications projects are performed by developers, and only as part of a development requirement by the county. Welcome to the IE! Work at Home Jobs: They Truly are Scams!

I work at home and run my own business, but it took about six years until I could quit my day job and work for myself 100%. I didn't buy any kind of information like you did, I just worked my ass off. During those six years I spent all day at my regular job, and then all night long at my business. Harley-Davidson Anticipates Lower Profit

The Chinese consumer market is VERY lucrative. I don't think China will allow Harley to flood their streets with American-made bikes. THEREFORE, China will require that any Harley-Davidson motorcycle sold in China, will have to be built in China. It makes perfect business sense for China to make this demand. I'm sure Harley will do it. Harleys sold in the USA will still be assembled in the USA. But they'll be made with Chinese made parts.  (Sep 12, 2007 | post #3)
