Time for state to use 'rainy-day fund,' teachers union says

NO its time to raise the sales tax to what ever amount we need to fund schools that way everyone will pay their fair share not just the home owners. Its time that childern who are in the schools that mon and dad do not own a home or work live on welfair pay their fair amount base of their income. Then maybe they will slow down on having 6 or 7 kids that as a home owner with a job i have to pay for.  (Apr 23, 2008 | post #14)

Tax cuts could mean steep spending cuts in Orlando-area county

Its the same in every County in the state Amendment 1 cause this. If Goverment had not have been so willing to raise taxs increase fees on back of home owners to pay for parks, and everything else they wanted without asking the tax payor then their would have never been a Amendment 1 to cause this.  (Apr 17, 2008 | post #1)

School impact fees set to soar

lets see they are buying a new home so they must have jobs so they are already paying taxs now you want them to pay more how about the childern who go to school that their mon dad do not WORK how is it fair for the working class to keep paying more and more for the ones who do not work its got to stop a sales tax were everyone pays is more fair than a impact fee you pay base on the money you spend and EVERYONE pays  (Oct 23, 2007 | post #24)
