I agree! The "gate way" theory is flawed. Alcohol is the "first" DRUG exposure kids have. By keeping it illegal makes a large population of pot smokes CRIMINALS and takes away jail space from the more violent criminals. It also keeps this HUGE trade in the "black market" where organized crime profits and flourishes.  (Nov 11, 2009 | post #36)

I agree. Most are against it because of their religion or beliefs. They want to force others to abide by their faith. The real dumb thing is this benign "drug" has been used for 1,000's of years! I saw a program on PBS where they unearthed a prehistoric mummy dating back over 20,000 years and buried next to him was his pot. People! By making it illegal means putting pot smokers in JAIL! Which in turn takes up prison space for violent offenders. Please get off your "high horse" and support legalization!  (Nov 5, 2009 | post #25)

I can see your religion is a deciding factor in this. Do you also think pot smokers should be put in jail?  (Nov 3, 2009 | post #12)

I was referring to persons claim that they did not want to have their neighborhood "smelling " like pot. Sorry to her about the "personal " issues (pot was the ONLY source of this?). So by keeping it illegal you advocate putting people who smoke pot in jail? Does your "religious " convictions have anything to do with this?  (Nov 3, 2009 | post #11)

In the end, Hawaii falls flat at Nevada - Hawaii Sports

The "Good...Bad and the Ugly" The Good: 500 yds in offense, Monez is improving The Bad: Lost The Ugly: No defense, "red zone" INT's (how about using tightends there)  (Nov 2, 2009 | post #26)

What about prescription drugs that cause impairment? Ban them too? Ban things that you don't like the smell of? What about people with bad body odor? Shall we put these people in jail? Maybe you should stop start thinking about your self and start thinking about others.  (Oct 29, 2009 | post #7)

It's about time! Pot does not need to be "demonized ". People die from cigarettes People die from alcohol People die from taking aspirin People die from eating peanut butter NO ONE EVER DIED FROM SMOKING POT!!!!!!!!!!  (Oct 28, 2009 | post #3)

Warrior Replay - Hawaii Sports

What surprises me is Hawaii defense is not where it supposed to be under a "defense coach". While the offense is doing better than expected. In "red zone" situations maybe using tightends would help. This gives the offense options for running or passing to "big guys" who only need to take a few steps toward the goal. I expect more for coach Mac to fix the huge holes in defending against the run.  (Oct 19, 2009 | post #9)

N. Korea may fire at isles - Hawaii News

This is just grandstanding by NK. Want to be bold and strut their stuff. Make like they have a big salami in their pants. At the end of it all it is "All show and no go". There is no way they can be a threat to Hawaii. So let them have their **** .  (Jun 19, 2009 | post #104)
