Schumi said himself that he did not want the pressure and daily training any more. He wants to do what he likes- he races bikes, carts, has his fee from Ferrari (and sorry- say what you want about the Mafia-) if he ever left Ferrari and defected to Merc for whatever reason I am sure we would read about a mysterious road accident or something. He is not that stupid and certainly as Redders said- he has nothing whatsoever to prove. I could of course be totally wrong.  (Wednesday Nov 25 | post #33)

Jenson Button likely to join Lewis Hamilton at McLaren

Brawn has the problem of offering the current champ less money with Nr 1 on his car to play Nr 2 to Rosberg.......can' t work. So Button will take his Nr 1 car for more money to be Nr 2 to Hamilton......that will work? Hmmmmmmmm At least Ham is a WDC..........so has at least proved something. Button however has also the buttongate saga behind him so maybe the team just don't trust him and may just think his "loyalty and paycut" last year just might have more to do with having a job at all than ermm "loyalty ". 'Ham is overhyoped piece of garbage- all earned millions on the hype of youngest blackest WDc etc.......but now what? The Hype is OVER........now he is just a normal driver like kimi, Massa, Heidfeld etc..........there is nothing left to earn from him.........so bye bye in that sense. And since button is finally now WDC the sponsors have a much better chance with a reasaonably good looking white playboy male than a what?.......ugly looking but first coloured to make something? Sorry but advertising doesn't work that way.........Ham is an advertising disaster why the sponsors want a Kimi or Rosberg on board....... Well it looks like Sir Frank torpedoed any testing....... On another note- none of the big boys like Bernie, Max or the team leaders etc really give a damm what the fans think or want. F1: Kovalainen Out, Rosberg In At McLaren ???

Well now Rosberg's BMW option seems to have somewhat dissipated then I can only see him either staying put or going to Macca. Haug also confirmed last race that they were totally disappointed in Heikki, there were no talks going on with him for next year and yes they definitely want to see a German in the cockpit. Don't think Heikki stands a chance to be honest. And no- Rosberg and Hambone are not friends.  (Aug 1, 2009 | post #5)
