Hernia Mesh Patch Recall - FDA Warns of Death and Serious...

No sure where to even begin. In Aug of 2002 I had hernia surgery with the Composix Kugel small mesh implanted. Over the last 10 years, I have lived with a lot of pain, stomach issues, chest pain. In december of 2010, I was in so much pain that my doctor ordered ultrasounds, x-rays etc of my gall bladder, pancreas, kidneys, liver etc trying to find the source of the pain. every time being told they can not find anything. Must be in my head. So many times I thought I was having a heart attack and afraid to go to sleep (worried that I would not wake up). Again in February of 2012, I was in so much pain. They sent me for another ultrasound and found a few cysts on my ovaries. My dr ordered a Hysterectomy, may have endometriosis. I am 40 and not having anymore children. When my doctor started the surgery, she said that she had never seen such a thing before, lucky her assistant had. I had so much scar tissue and adhesions that were causing my pain. Everything was stuck together, my bowels etc... I guess that does not show until they fill you with gas. They had to remove all the adhesions and scar tissue before preforming the hysterectomy. Turns out I had no endometerosis, no cyst on either ovaries, normal uteris, but hysterectomy was still performed. That has thrown me into menopause and struggling now trying to find some sense of normalcy. All because I was implanted with this mesh. Where do I even start? How do you know which way to go?
