Sewer Rates Going Up

We already had one rate increase and now another. We went from $76 to $97 when we started paying for our trash again. Yes I would rather have gradual increases but this is not the first this year. It will also be interesting to see how much of an increase larger families will pay. I believe this was a real issue with some of our council the last time it was raised. It will be interesting to see how our council votes on this increase.  (Thursday Dec 10 | post #3)

Sewer Rates Going Up

According to todays Leader Arnold is weighing a 2 dollar increase in our sewer rater. It will be discussed Dec. 10 at a meeting. Matt Urein is recommending the increase. If this passes it would be effective in Janurary. Interesting considering the fact that we just had an increase. Oh well.  (Wednesday Dec 9 | post #1)

New Navy Ship to be Christened the Missouri

Yes Dillon today is Pearl Harbor Day. It is sad that many of our younger people do not have a clue what happened on Dec. 7. Many people no longer even stand during a parade when our flag passes by, they don't stand when the pledge is being said. As Doris the VFW is collecting items for the men who are in the VA Hospital and that is great.  (Monday Dec 7 | post #14)

More Question to Answer

Funny you should tell Nick to take things to his board but staying here also proves that you enjoy the arguing. It is really funny when people complain about threads being deleted as I said in another post. If you don't like the fact that some posts and some entire threads are deleted then you can go to AT or to another site Doris started some time ago. I checked today and it is still up and running but no one has posted there since July. Not much arguing going on there either.
