Well Ms. April, did you ever stop and think that just MAYBE I DO live in Peebles? MAYBE I still live on Elm St? Maybe I am one of your neighbors..and maybe I'm not.. You'll never know!!! Hmmm.... you need to ask yourself how would someone who DOESN'T live in Peebles anymore know so much about your family? How would I know that your brother DID steal the neighbors shirt off of the clothes line and wear it? And the worst thing was it was a shirt he got from the NAVY when he retired and all of his shipmates signed it!! People in a small town DO TALK! How would I know he stole a TV, a lawn mower, power tools, a chain saw and whatever else he could? Hmmmm... can you DENY IT?!?! There are CONCERNED CITIZENS that watch out for each other! Being poor is NO excuse to steal from your neighbors. I your cousins and aunts and uncles and they ARE GOOD DECENT people that would NEVER do the crap your family does!! I wouldn't clean their yard for a million dollars. And NO I'm not rich. Never have been and probably never will be. What has been the excuse for the past 10 years or a whole life time of them living that way? Not all of the Gilpins are like the ones on Elm St. Some of them are good, decent, hard working people that take pride in themselves. I don't see how you can sit on here and defend people that steal? Maybe her and Donnie don't but I know Roger Jr. does. He's stole off of 3 or 4 people I know and I'm sure from people I don't know. He stole a lawn mower and it was sitting right in their back yard! He was wearing a shirt he stole off of the neighbors clothes line! Maybe YOU can call theives decent people but I think the people that work for what they have don't appreciate it. I know them too (the ones on Elm st). I KNOW their son is a thief. FOR A FACT!!! He has stole from alot of the people in the neighborhood. Stereo's TV's, tools, and clothes. YES IT IS A FACT!!! If you don't believe me, just ask their neighbors. I work and have paid for my house and all my bills and I am a single parent with 2 kids. I don't blame people for being poor but a bar of soap and a trash bag to pick their yard doesn't cost a lot of money. There's a Save-A-Lot right down the road. PRIDE doesn't mean rich or arrogant. I means having DIGNITY!!! So when was the last time you went to their house for lunch or spent the night? Do ya go hang out with them on their front porch sippin' lemonade in the summer? Well I DIDN'T post this pic and someone else is signing is as me. I only go to peebles 3 or 4 times a year (I live in Wilmington)! I DO know the Gilpins (the ones from peebles and seaman) and I don't have a problem with them. MY COMMENT was that even though they are NICE PEOPLE , they have trash outside and it causes rats, bugs and skunks and other problems that the neighbors do NOT appreciate. If THEY want to live like that, so be it. But their neighbors shouldn't have to. AND TO WHOEVER IS SIGNING IN AS ME, YOU CAN KISS MY @SS!!! (Nov 3, 2009 | post #13)
